Stuff was very friendly and helpful (also during the earthquake)! Everything was clean and the breakfast was great. Transfer to the airport with a very nice driver.
Quiet riad where you can relax in a busy and noisy city.

A truly beautiful peaceful oasis to be based in , staff so welcoming and helpful, breakfast was fresh healthy and absolutely delicious. Riad is beautifully decorated and the roof top terrace was a lovely place to relax.
we found it quite hard to find exact location on arrival.

Quiet and nice place to stay, close to the Medina. The riad is tastefully decorated, the hosts and everyone there are very nice and helpful. Good breakfast, with focus on quality (home made) rather than quantity. We also chose to try the dinner, the chicken tagine it was exceptional.

Loved the cozy boutique style riad. Very tastefully decorated in the creamy hues and looked exactly like the pictures. Beds n pillows were very comfortable. Enjoyed the welcome Moroccan tea and the interesting treats served with it.
The hosts were a lovely couple and made frequent trips to check if everything was in order and that we were being looked after well by their staff.
About a 3-4 min walk (with our suitcases) through the bylanes of the Medina as the car cannot get to the property entrance. Download an offline version of maps for directions.
Breakfast was lovely but with set portions. Water was not replenished.
The pool is the size of a jacuzzi so since we were a large group we didn't have the chance to use it.

Clean room, good towels, bath amenities and bed, parking place nearby.
Ground floor room has no air conditioner, breakfast tables just in 20 cm from the room door, poor wifi in the room. The 1st floor room is better, has AC, less breakfast sounds, but very faint wifi as well. Quite far from the center of Medina. Poor breakfast, no eggs. Overpriced in general.

Great location - easy to find and reach all sights. Great hospitality - the host met the taxi, explained how to find the riad, helped to organise the dinner, gave recommendations about the prices and where to go. The terrass on the roof - good place to relax on the warm sunny day.
The floor in the room was not very clean and it was uncomfortable to walk barefoot. Also the construction of all riads is such that you can here all your neighbours (and they can hear you and what is going on in your room too). So if you would like to have more privacy then it's better to book a usual hotel, but nevertheless I recommend to stay at riad.

The rooms are decorated with very good taste, beds are really comfortable and everything looks exactly as in the pics. The host came to pick us at the taxi square and offered us some tea, quite convenient since we arrived really late in the evening
Since we visited the riad in the winter, the common areas were quite cold, so we didn't use the rooftop. Communication was hard sometimes. It was difficult to get a payment receipt.
The doors of the rooms are quite pretty and ancient but need some adjustments since they make some noise that can disturb other guests.

Literally...Everything. :) The decor, the ambiance, the smell, the rooftop, the quietness of the Riad, the view and the sounds of the Medina from the rooftopp, the breakfast... :) Jean-Marc booked for us a private transfer from (and back to) the airport, which was extremely handy and convenient. They drop you off a really short walk away from the Riad. Find the Riad (I would say) is relatively difficult at the first time, but after days, you will get used to it, easily. On the first evening we had a 3 course dinner at the Riad, typical Moroccan dishes, we loved it. On one evening we had a glass of wine and nice chat with Jean-Marc, how they ended up there in Marrakech, history of the Riad, and about life, of course. :)) Lovely breakfast is served every morning, absolutely no rush, you can have it when you would like to. Our room was spot on, had everything we needed. I don't want to write books here, don't hesitate to book with Dar Zouar, it will exceed your expectations, it is a beautiful place to stay, in every way. Thank you Jean-Marc, we might return one day! :)
Small note to bad sleeper travellers, bring your earplugs, as you will hear most of the noises coming from the Riad/other rooms/downstairs and the check the prayer times in Marrakech, as the Adhan (song of the muezzin, a call to prayer) could be very loud early in the morning as there is a mosque nearby with megaphones on the tower. But it is part of the authentic experience, it didn't disturb us at all, I just would like to highlight it. Every prayer is different, it was beautiful and interesting to listen to it at the first time. I suggest "google" or "youtube" it to get what I am talking about. :)

All the staff was exceptionally kind and lovely, and the riad was very cute, relaxing and quiet. The rooftop is nice, though we were unlucky with the weather so didnt enjoy it as much as we wished to. We stayed for 5 nights had a really nice experience!
Special mention to the wi-fi: my friend had to work remotely and she managed to do so with everything working great.
It was a bit difficult to find, make sure you try to remember the way to the Riad the first day for the little streets you need to cross.

Everything, including the food, was perfect and everyone was really kind and professional. We spent 4 days at the riad, the location is great if you want to visit the Medina and experience the life of Marrakech. I would certainly recommend it.
