Old facilities. Overall condition doesnt correspond to its high price at all. Expensive spa and food which are just passable.
Random staff broke in our room TWICE without knocking on the door and my permission! The first time was early in the morning. The second time was nice oclock in the evening and my girlfriend and I had just showered. Hugely scary and shocking incidence.
Also, the reception cannot understand english well.

Beautiful hotel and gardens are very well maintained and tastefully decorated.
The food was one the best we had ...
The only disappointment was that our room was too tight. If only they had a smaller double bed there, then the wardrobe's door would've easily open and they could even have a bed side table there.
Also the shower could do with a screen.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful, the design , the gardens. The staff are all multi lingual and super nice, very efficient in every aspect. Location is only a few mins drive from the souk in in the"new" part of town with wide boulevards and lots of trees surrounding the property
The food in the restaurant for dinner became repetitive as we only ate out on one night in our stay of one week.

Food was excellent
The only reason why I wouldnt give this place full marks is we had an incident during the evening which put a sour taste to our last day. Our flight was early in the morning so we retired early and there was a party in the outdoor dining area which became quite rowdy. Lots of screaming as part of the party were trying to throw each other in the pool at a time in which was abit past sociable hours. Downside was staff wasnt doing anything to manage their guest that were staying and the guest that were in the restaurant.

The pool was beautiful. As was our suite. Breakfast was by the pool. The pool and surrounding gardens are really well laid out.

The pictures don't do the beauty of the property justice. It's an amazing oasis. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was huge, beautiful, and very comfortable- we wish we had stayed longer.
