Our stay at Dar al Sultan was exceptional. We stayed one night booked through our tour company, then returned a night later for two nights on our own; therefore, we experienced two different rooms under two booking types (including the suite). All our time here was calm, clean, comfortable. The entire group of people working here are warm and helpful. Both our rooms were well decorated and perfectly clean. The wifi works really well. The breakfast is lovely with each day servings being a little different (omelets one day, pancakes the next etc). The location is great - tucked away from the noise down clean streets that felt safe even at 10pm and 5am. There are very friendly street cats in the area, please give them a nice pat as you walk by! I will be staying here again if I return to the city.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location slightly secluded from the noise and chaos of the Medina but relatively close to access it all. Shower pressure and temp great. Bed super comfortable. Nice Riad/Dar authentic feel.

The place is gorgeous! A very traditional Riad in the heart of Medina. It’s perfectly located, close to the souks and the palaces, but at the same time in a side alley, so it’s very peaceful and quiet. Everything was neat and tasteful to the details. But the best part is definitely the staff. I felt so spoiled! They will go above and beyond to get you everything you need, including wine, which can be challenging in Marrakesh. They will chaperone you to places so you don’t get lost. They always remember the things you like. And Sana will help you with everything you need, including booking restaurants, hammam, tours and giving you a masterclass on how to negotiate at the souks. Amazing stay!

Location was perfect. Very friendly staff who were always willing to help. Very clean
In the courtyard area it smelt a bit of cigarette smoke, not the fault of the owners though I think the smell came from elsewhere.

Traditional riad & well located in the Medina. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good. They accommodated my celiac husband.
We stayed in a room downstairs and most of the time, we could smell cigarette smokes. Although when the door was closed and the heater was on, the smell was tolerable

The riad was beautiful with many details - rose petals in the room, delicious welcome drink
It was a tiny bit noisy in the evenings but the noise was coming from a group of locals on a street nearby so this isn’t the fault of the riad

A beautiful Riad in a fantastic location in the heart of the medina in Marrakesh. The Riad and our room was beautifully furnished and designed with a pool and a rooftop terrace and gorgeous furnishings. The breakfast was delicious with new dishes every day. The staff were wonderful. They couldn't do enough for us from the lovely manager to her day concierge and night staff and the kitchen staff that made the breakfasts. Staying here made our visit to Marrakesh especially magical. Recommend you arrange airport transfer with the Riad as it is difficult to find when you first arrive especially at night (as was the case with us).

A Truly Unforgettable Stay!
I spent a few days at this Riad and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is stunning — beautifully designed with authentic Moroccan charm and attention to every detail. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable.
What really made the difference was the staff: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and gave us great tips to explore Marrakech like a local.
I highly recommend using their airport shuttle service, especially upon arrival — the Riad can be a bit tricky to find the first time.
A peaceful haven right in the heart of the Medina. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

A must is to organise an airport transfer, you will not find this place otherwise.

A beautiful property nested in a quiet area but close to all the main attractions to walk to and to the taxi rank. Sanae our day time host was exceptionally helpful and lovely to chat to. Would recommend using their airport transfer too as all very easy in a very busy and confusing city ! Breakfasts were varied and delicious !
Some tea / coffee making facilities in the room would elevate the stay
