This was our favorite riad we have stayed in, we booked the two-bedroom suite, and it was perfect for our family of four, the room was beautiful and clean, the beds were comfy and it was very quiet too. away from the noise of the medina. We all loved the breakfast at the riad, ate on the roof top everyday, the highlight is def all the homemade jam!
the location was the only slight negative, it is a bit further from the center of the medina than we are used to. and Marrakech Medina is over-runed by motorcycles, so the walk is not as easy especially for two young kids.

The riad is in a very good location in the middle of the Medina. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The terrace is a gem to relax after a walk in the city.
The massage and hammam are also very pleasant.
The rooms are a bit small and humid.
You can hear everything from other rooms - there was a small kid on the property in the room just next to ours and in the morning he would start crying and wake us up. I think that this kind of riad where guests come for peace and quiet, should be adults-only

Very well decorated and elegant riad. Of particular note is the staff and management team: extremely friendly and efficient, always available to provide guidance. A little oasis in the medina where we felt so welcome. A very pleasant upper patio that allows you to dine and relax by the small pool. Breakfast is very good, varied with local delicacies and great fruit.
Access is not easy: complex alleys that can be scary initially. Everything improves with the Riad's guidance, and becomes easier over time.

We had such a lovely stay in every possible aspect. The manager Said went out of his way to make it nice for us, checking in regularly if we needed anything and provided us with lots of information and mint tea. He even got us breakfast before the regular breakfast times as we had an early return flight, and printed out our boarding passes for us to save us from having to pay Ryanair's fee for doing that at the airport
The riad is beautifully decorated and cleaned to a high standard. It's in a great location close to everything in Medina, but not along a busy street so it was quiet and peaceful inside
This was one of my favorite holidays ever and staying in this riad really made it for us

The staff was a 15/10, just amazing, careful and dedicated to generate the best posible experience. The Riad manager, guided us trough the most important city tips, offered an amazing welcome tea and almond cookies and always made us feel at home while completely respecting our space. 100% recomendable.

It is still an amazing place, a paradise!
Said is an wonderful host with his lovely, caring and helpful being, and the rest of the staff is just wonderful. The dinner is a culinary experience.

An exceptional property with an exceptional host in Said. From the moment we arrived the service was attentive. Dinner provided on the night of our arrival was a culinary delight. Breakfast each morning on the rooftop (with the company of curios birds) was likewise a treat.
All of the staff were great, but Said stood out with the time he gave us to highlight places of interest that would pique both our cultural interests and our appetites
Look forward to returning there!

The Dar Akal is a beautiful traditional Riad with a mixture of traditional and modern refurbishments. The service was impeccable, Said the manager was so kind and helpful with everything from luggage and refreshments to great restaurant recommendations. The rooftop terrace is a lovely oasis where we had breakfast everyday and relaxed on some evenings to enjoy the sunset. Will definitely stay again.

This was our first time in Marocco and the first person we met was Sa'id :) He gave us a calm/chill energy feeling. Such a beautiful soul! Shukran Sa'id! Staff was next level as well. Everything you might need - will be done :) Riad itself was beautiful as well! The bed and pillows were really good. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Riad in a great location in the centre of Marrakech. Everything was easy to walk to from here. The staff at Dar Akal were beautiful, so helpful and kind. I could not recommend this place more!
