Nothing!
The hotel is located far from the city's attractive places. In addition, the hotel was crowded with boys who worked for a travel agency, constantly bothering tourists by offering services they did not need in an attempt to earn money from them. Ants and insects infest the rooms (see photos). I do not recommend it. The restaurant's service was subpar; they failed to fill food on time (see photos).

The rooms were really dated and need to be upgraded. The showers are extremely dangerous as they are really slippery and my children fell and hurt themselves whilst showering
The rooms needed updating furniture and curtains very old and soiled.

Pleasant
It was relaxing and a getaway
It was expensive and didn’t really live upto the standard compared to other all inclusive hotels. The staff were not as welcoming, I feel this was because I was an hijabi, the response from them was aloof and I had to ask the same request multiple times ?

Fantastic selection of pools and access to the small aquaparc in the neighbouring hotel. Wonderful animation team with activities through the day to keep the family entertained. All inclusive was great value with great with large selection of good quality food and drinks.
The "fitness centre" was a series of running machines which were temperamental or unsafe in a space next to the indoor pool with cockroaches and no air conditioning.
There was no shelf space and very few hangers in the room.
£10 deposit for towels which had to be cash so ££ tied up until end of holiday - would be better if you could just charge it to the room.

The entertainment staff were great with children and did activities non stop throughout the day and evening.
The food was not of a 4* standard. Very limited on choice and repetitive even though themes on different nights. Evening meal was poor but bbq at lunch was ok.

We had a fantastic time at Valeria Atlas Hotel Marrakech! The rooms were spotlessly clean and the facilities were absolutely brilliant – from the pool to the spa, everything was well-maintained and enjoyable.
A special shoutout to the entertainment team who kept us busy and smiling all day with fun activities and shows – they really made the experience memorable.
The food was exceptionally good, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The desserts in particular were to die for – we looked forward to them every single day!
The only slight downside was that the hotel is a bit out of the way, so we had to get a taxi each time we wanted to go into central Marrakech. But honestly, it wasn’t a big issue and was well worth it for the relaxing environment the hotel offers.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and food-filled getaway!

Nice, spacious , clean rooms. Beautiful, peaceful grounds. Great food. Lovely, fun animation team.
Some savoury snacks would have been good to have available during the day, not just sweet pastries. Need money for everything, deposit for towels, safe, and to print boarding passes (20 dhs per sheet seemed quite expensive). Was told by receptionist it would cost 200 dhs to airport just needed to walk out via gate and then got out no one wanted to take us, insisted on 250 which we no longer had. In the end a nice taxi driver decided to take us with us cutting it fine to the airport. Smart TV with Youtube etc would have been useful for kids in the room. Also, the fact you have to pay for certain drinks means it's not fully all inclusive.

Loved beautiful gardens. There was an ornamental lake with fountains , very tame ducks & peahens, & waking up to birdsong was very relaxing. The outdoor pools were stunning & there was a good sized heated indoor pool. Also loved the zen pool & spa available at sister hotel next door. Friendly helpful staff. Tasty cuisine. Fun activities./ entertainment. Excellent spa treatments Rooms in traditional Riads were comfortable & quiet away from main building with bar/ restaurant/theatre/ nightclub. Shuttle bus to historic centre. Excellent value for money in my opinion.
Shower cubicle in bathroom needs a door to prevent flooding.
Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but were clean.

Poor
The pool was nice but because of the time of year, too cold to use.
The room was adequate, but 2 holes in the wall of the shower. Also mold on the ceiling, and a cigarette burn on one of the bedside tables.
These were reported on our first day, but nothing written down, and no action from the hotel. I mentioned it again on day 6, and was told I could move, but it wasn’t worth it for 1 night.
The TV didn’t have ANY English spoken channels, not even a news channel. Very poor in 2025.

Good
quiet location, nice staff
Small annoying indisciplines: you have to hunt for cutlery at meals. So much for those with food allergies! they pay attention to which food contains which allergen, but there were not enough spoons for the bowls to use, so everyone used them back and forth, thus the gluten-containing foods easily got into the non-gluten-containing dishes. The price of this was diarrhea for us.
the opening hours of the indoor pool are also unreal: closed until 5 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. This is obviously annoying when you cannot swim in the outdoor pools because they are so cold.

The staff was nice. The garden area was beautiful and my daughter loved the ducks and pond.
Old and run down facilities. The rooms were tired and looked dirty. No heated pool. No kids club even though it was listed as an amenity. When we arrived at the front gate, we were given a list of all the guests names and asked to find ours -- total lack of security and privacy, because we could see all the names☹️
