Check-in lent

No green areas, no room view, and weird regulations about what to bring into the hotel. We were rudely stopped by the main entrance security for bring a doggy bag after dinner with my spouse outside!! when we asked where that regulation was written, we didn't get an answer. That was a disappointing experience in a 5 star hotel priding itself with staff friendliness.

the room has poor soundproofing. There is a pool opposite the room door. You can enjoy music and conversations at night.

I was really disappointed with with not allowing my partner to stay with me, everything was so controlled and made me me feel uncomfortable. On arrival we were informed that we couldnt stay together, it is very controversial because you are not allowing couples to stay together, but you allowing bringing half naked dancers to the hotel and playing loud music and selling alcohol! I was asking about that reception but she seemed to be completely lost in her words. I need to still add that Wi-Fi in the room was very poor and I couldnt sleep during the night because of the highway noises. In the end, I dont really think that this was good value of money and I have stayed in much better hotels in lower price.

Girl at the reception (I'd rather not mention her name but she will know) sold us activities 60% more expensive than all other attendees. We asked her to look into a desert dinner for 2 for which she had to call a third party to enquire the price. She initially tried to sell it to us for 1500 dirhams (150 eur) for 2 people and then "checked again" with the third party who apparently agreed to go down to 1000 dirhams (100 eur). We agreed even knowing that there are much cheaper options online assuming that this will be much better (given the price). We ended up being driven to the desert (20 min ride) to eat a tajine (normally costs 80 dirhams), has two guys improvising songs and singing nursery songs while stopping to have random phone calls (I'm Moroccan so I know) and then driven back (no special show nor activities, literally just a tajine and two random guys). Once we asked other guests how much they paid they all paid 200 DIRHAMS each and not 500 like us! When we asked the organisers they said that all profit goes to the hotel which in this case was the receptionist who insisted that we paid in cash and directly to her and no one else (to get her cut obviously). Long story short DO NOT book any activities outside the hotel via the hotel as unfortunately they will scam you! Dear receptionist, I hope you don't consider that money HALAL income because IT IS NOT. Good luck making it last.

The location is a bit far from the center

Hair dryer wasnt working but they replaced it quick. Overall good hotel. Good service

Breakfast could be improved. Omelette was ok but not a major issue.
