It's a nice gem near the medina, but the rooms next to the pool are disappointing, cause the reception is next to it. The closet in between is a big soundbox, it was really terrible they talk and make noise til 23.30 and at 7.00 the waterfilter/fountain gets on. Who makes that up??? One evening the could disable it, but the next morning we woke up again with the waterfall.
Them there is also a doorbell which you can hear throughout the whole hotel... nice for late and early arrivals...

The architecture of the place is amazing and the owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. On arrival he told us the best places to visit, together with a little bit of history and architecture of the place. Really interesting and helpful. Didn't get the chance to try the kitchen for dinner but I heard it is amazing.
Extras such as teas, coffees and water are expensive. Better to buy them outside the Ryad.

We really enjoyed listening and speaking with Mr. Hutch. A very interesting person. We loved his riad and learning of its history. Large, quiet, safe and clean room. We had excellent wi-fi throughout the riad. Many cool spots to enjoy the peace and quiet within. A very good breakfast and excellent staff. We could not have been happier. Far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, peaceful oasis in Fes. Highly recommended!

This Riad is beautifully decorated. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are attentive and pleasant. Breakfast is served in a lovely garden with roses.
The Riad is in the centre of the Ville Nouvelle, which offers the chance of a relatively calm place to which to return. However, one needs to take a taxi to get to the Medina (although this is cheap and not difficult) and there is some street noise.

The staff was very friendly and the place much traditional.
The breakfast choice was very limited, only one egg as salty option. We did not have the key for the external door and had to ring the bell anytime we wanted to enter. The location is pretty far from the old town, which we found to be only place to visit during Ramadan.

Property is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was lovely with our own bathroom and air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. I really appreciated them doing our laundry after our stay in the desert. Having not been to Fes before, I thought I was booking a Riad in the old city. This Riad is in the new centre and is about a 50 minute walk or 15 minute taxi to old Medina.
Our bed was very hard, breakfast was not great (eggs undercooked, breads and cakes very tough) compared to other places we have stayed.

Beautiful hotel and room. Lots of trinkets to look at. Polite and good-natured staff. Nice green courtyard.
Food at the hotel costs a lot by local standards. Parking spaces are on the street, not in a closed area, but they are private.

Staff was great. Room was clean and a great size. Pool looked really good but too cold for a swim. Internet was sufficient. Breakfast was pretty good. Location is in the new city, maybe a 25 minute walk from the Medina. More modern area, not a lot of Moroccan restaurants very close. It depends on what you want. If you want to spend all day in the Medina, this isnt a great spot. We did tours of the Medina and middle atlas and were picked up at the Riad, so wasnt a huge deal for us. This was at the end of our trip and we actually enjoyed a little break from the Medina and Moroccan food anyways!
