Wonderful
A cozy, clean small hotel with delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Peaceful surroundings, spacious parking, and fast Wi-Fi. I recommend it.

Estonian house 1913. The part that was separated in 2005 resembles a dormitory vibe.
Quiet district Agenskalnsi and near Tirgu.
Breakfast was good.
noisy cleaning staff and children who probably went to a competition somewhere and were unsupervised by their parents in the evening

Very Good
The room looked good and it was clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was great. Overall good stay.
The ventilation in the bathroom was a bit poor and the walls between rooms where bit thin and you could hear everything your next door neighbour did but otherwise it was a nice place. Would recommend for anyone who would like to visit the Riga Old town.

Wonderful
The thing that I wasn't expecting to be so good - the breakfast! Included in the price, available for 3 hours each morning.
Good food, maybe from the supermarket, but that still means good, in Poland! Plus the omelette couldn't be bought, I don't think so.
The room was warm and spacious. I think they can easily add a second bed there if they need to, since the bed I had was only for one person. There was a desk, too, which I used as a table.
The best thing I've ever had in a hotel room so far - a silent refrigerator! I have to get one of those for my room back home. It doesn't freeze things, but for a few drinks and foods, does it really need to freeze them? I could never hear it running. You could even set the power from inside, after opening the door. But, even on the maximum setting, it still made no noise.
The room had a network cable socket on the wall, usually used for wired computer networks. It had a logo with a phone on it, so who knows. Wifi worked fine, too.
Not much to complain about. The city would throw sand around the snow, so that people slide less on the ice. The sand got into the undersides of your shoes and mixed with snow. When you arrived in your room, the snow would melt, leaving small puddles and small rocks that were painful to step on.
The hotel has two hallways before you get to the elevator. That's where I tried to stomp my feet to get the snow off my shoes, but there was always enough left for my room. I don't know how the hotel could solve this, to be honest. And it's not their fault, either.

I usually eat a lot and therefore I like buffet style. I liked the bath tub because I needed that after long dance festival days. I like taking stairs and I it was favorable to me that they didn't have doors and there was an easy access to the stairs.
That was a mild nuisance, but the bed's mattress shifted a bit. Not a showstopper.

Cheap, free parking, good breakfast. A good option if you just want to stay somewhere cheap.
One bed was the folding kind with noisy spring. Mini fridge was seriously noisy. No soap or shampoo in the shower.

Wonderful
What I got compared to what I paid was quite good. Easy access to the city, I liked the food options near by Āgenskalns market place, the room was big enough for me, breakfast has minimal and it was good. There was a free parking and it was crucial for me.

Wonderful
We travelled with 2 teenagers so we booked a quad room. The room was very basic given there were 4 beds. It served the purpose of the stay (overnight before the flight home), so nothing to complain. The room was clean. The front desk lady was very helpful. She pointed out the last parking spot for us and made a great recommendation of the nearby Grill Garden restaurant.
The breakfast was so so. The parking spot was a bit tight. We were lucky that we got the last one, not sure what would have happened if there were not spots left when we got there.

It was difficult to find the garbage can or room to get rid of garbage.

Booking, price, check-in and check-out.
There was only hand soap in the bathroom, no shower gel or shampoo. The breakfast was otherwise good, but the place had only a single coffee machine which got often crowded. It didn't matter this time but would be very disturbing on a work day morning to be left without breakfast coffee.

Pleasant
The location is conveniently situated near the city, making it easy to access all the popular tourist spots. I particularly enjoyed the library; it provided a wonderful opportunity to take in the entire view of the city of Latvia. It was truly a great experience!
It would be really beneficial if they could install air conditioning, especially during the summer when it gets quite hot. Right now, we only have electric fans to cool us down. Thank you for considering this! And also hope the breakfast will change every day.We stayed 4 but anyway better than never..??Thank you for the Chef and the staff.
