Dodo Hotel is ideally located in a historic district of Riga, with a tram stop just across the street, where the Old Town, shopping areas, and main attractions are all within easy reach in just a few minutes. Clean room, i could check in apready from 13:00 and work. The room was quiet and beds really comfortable. It` s winter, but i could turn on the heat and the room temperature was perfect. I like to stay there.
It could be placed closer to the Center of Riga.

Location (shop across the street, as well as the tram stop and it’s 10-15min tram ride to the centre). The girl at the reception was nice and answered all our questions.
The room smelled like cleaner mixed with cigarettes and they have paper thin walls.

It was close to the tram station and very clean and the staff was helpful!
The room was kinda small and there was no space at the bathroom so if you opened the sink , water spread everywhere. Also, there was no breakfast buffet just express

The price and the place

The room and the bathroom was clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. Lots of power outlets, perfect if you need to charge a bunch of electronics at once. The location is good, right next to a tram stop, and its easy to get to anywhere in the city. There is a DEPO, with a huge parking lot 5min walk away, where you can park your car safely and free for several days. All in all, a pretty good place to stay for a few nights in a cool historical part of Riga.
Poor sound isolation, no air conditioning, which leads to an open window ar night, which leads to you having to listen to wonderful sounds of drunk tourists coming back to the hotel at 3am. Also, there is no mini-fridge, no kettle, which was a pretty large inconvenience personally.

Clean and comfortable room. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. You can hear other rooms and a hallway, but I didn't have a problem sleeping so not really a big problem for me.
