Very good location - vicinity of the railway and bus stations. Very kind host and clean place.
The local Wifi was poor, but thi was compensated bby freely available Wifi of the Mercure hotel (neighboring house)

Great location (cannot be more "central") and the very welcoming attitude of the host: big thanks goes to Nadia for making my stay comfortable and with a feel "being at home."
People stealing your's food from refrigerator. But, I guess, it is a part of most hostels experience.

The location was great, right next to the railway station and a short walk away from the bus station and bus stops to get around the city were right there too. Shopping center Origo is literally next door and restaurants are close by, it's a short walk to the Riga old town. The staff was incredibly nice!
The room was clean and it's what you'd expect for the price, furniture was older and maybe in need of an update. Bathroom and toilet were clean and alright, the kitchen was quite small but works, I mostly ate outside around the city though and would recommend that. The sound-proofing wasn't amazing inside and you could hear the other guests fairly easily (though what can you expect on a friday night :D) but overall it was okay. Despite a big road being close by and the shopping centre being there, you couldn't really hear noise from those. Pricing was fair, worth it for the location if you're traveling on a budget.
Furniture could use an update.

Friendly Staff and good value for money.
The doors of the individual rooms seem rather unsafe, so if there would have been many other guests it might have felt a bit risky to leave your stuff in the room during the day, especially if you have some more valuable belongings with you.

I booked last minute, and i got a private with comfortable bed and very clean sheets. Position is good. The host was super nice
The rest of the common areas were not as good. Bathrooms and kitchen are old and could be cleaner. Overall, there are hostels in Riga with much better quality/price ratio
