Great service, good breakfast, and one of the better hotels I've ever stayed at being accommodating for my 16 month old son. He loved the huge room, the special note and toy that came for free. Would recommend for young kids

Lovely room but overpriced. Good 15 minute walk into city
Overpriced and never received a deposit back (which they said was transferred). Sandy / noisy due to construction works back of hotel. Very hot but no air conditioning and couldnt opeb window due to sand / dust / dirt & allergies . Good location for buses (right outside hotel)

Disappointing
Location, close to public transport (bus) and nice parc (Merl) where you can have a picknic and/or short walk.
- Workers opened the door of our room without knocking and asking;
- Multiple unneeded disturbances by employees due to lack of internal communication about our check-out time;
- No airco (as specified in ad.). Windows can be opened, but causing noise from street and early light, when having a standard room. Upgrade to a room at side of parc could probably solve this.
- The little but nice parc cannot be entered from the hotel; takes a short walk outside.
- Personel showed having priority on their own housekeeping tasks, keeping us as customers waiting.
- Insufficient check-in capacity; customer before us had (and created) issues; we experiened long waittime in order to check in.
- Insufficient hooks for towels and so on, in bathroom and rooms;
- Only one towel in bathroom? Second day we found that an extra set of towels was "hidden" behind doors, below the sink.
- Renovation/rebuilding activities in adjacent rooms went on on saturday and sunday;
- We didn't take the breakfast. It looked far too expencive for what was offered.
- We didn't take the costly carparking, which the hotel offered to sell. (The Hotel didn't proactively recommend the free indoor/outdoor parking at P&R Boullion, only a few busstops from hotel. Busses are free of charge as well.)

The hotel is about 25 min walking from down town but there is a bus that you can take in the corner of the hotel so that is great and its free too. Clean room

The room was very tiny specially the bathroom it was very uncomfortable I am not big at all and it was little for me, so for my husband it was more uncomfortable. THE ROOM HAS NOT AIR CONDITIONING .

Good location from the city center and there's a Bus stop right in front of the Hotel.
There's a park at the back, good for walking.
Limited choice for Breakfast.
I have difficulty in controlling the hot and cold function for the shower, but I think that's the common problem for old hotels in Europe.?

I stayed here alone for a business trip, but I am already planning my next visit with my wife. Everything about this hotel was wonderful.
The room featured a beautiful, old-school design that felt incredibly romantic and charming. My favorite part of the stay was the mornings—waking up to a stunning view of the park, surrounded by nature, and listening to the peaceful sound of birds singing.
Breakfast each morning was elegant and delicious, matching the overall wonderful atmosphere of the hotel. It provided the perfect, cozy escape after a long workday. I cannot wait to come back for a leisure trip next time!
If you have a flight at 6.00 AM in the morning you can take the nearest bus 6 closed to the hotel at 4.23 AM and you can be at 04.50 AM at the airport.

Room was spacious and clean. Bus stop outside hotel with 4 stops to city centre. Quiet area and hotel lacks atmosphere.
Bar was not very welcoming. Hotel was extremely quiet and staff were not particularly welcoming . No air conditioning which was uncomfortable given the heat levels .Although a fan was in the room it was not ideal. We had to ask for coffee replenishments as only two provided daily.
This is not a 4 star hotel in my view but I would give it 3 star and charging 4 star prices.
