The location was wonderful. The staff was exceptional. We were there on Luxembourg national holiday. The hotel invited guests to celebrate with champagne and see the fireworks. The staff showed us 3 rooms to ask us to choose the one we wanted. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Le Place d’Armes during our vacation in Luxembourg City, and it was truly one of the highlights of our European trip.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare. A special thank you goes to Mr. Mohammed, whose generosity, professionalism, and genuine kindness made our stay especially memorable. His warm and humble gestures toward our family exemplified what true hospitality should be. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable, valued, and cared for throughout our stay.
The entire staff deserves recognition as well. Every request or concern we brought to their attention was handled promptly, professionally, and with a sincere desire to help. The responsiveness and attentiveness of the team made us feel more like honored guests than customers.
The hotel itself is simply beautiful. The decor, atmosphere, furnishings, and attention to detail reflect the highest standards of quality and taste. Every space within the property is elegant, refined, and impeccably maintained.
The breakfast was outstanding. The quality, presentation, freshness, and variety were among the best we experienced during our travels. Each morning felt like a special occasion rather than just a meal.
What impressed us most was that this hotel excelled in every aspect of the guest experience. From the food and service to the ambiance and comfort, it engaged all five senses and created an environment where we could truly relax and enjoy our vacation.
Luxembourg City itself is wonderful, but Hotel Le Place d’Armes elevated our visit into something truly unforgettable. We leave with wonderful memories and sincere gratitude to Mr. Mohammed and the entire team.
Without hesitation, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking luxury, exceptional service, and authentic hospitality in the heart of Luxembourg City.

Very nice hotel in excellent location.
Was difficult to find at first because the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, so you can’t drive up to the hotel unless the metal barriers are lowered. Once you’re there, the hotel can park your car under the hotel.

Our visit to Luxembourg was transformed into an absolute experience by the porters, concierge, front desk attendants, Manager, and waitstaff of Hotel Le Place d'Armes, Luxembourg. Before my wife and I had even stepped through the door we were warmly welcomed. Our bags were immediately taken up to our room and we were treated to a delightful Crémont check in. In particular, our front desk attendant Diogo was knowledgeable, welcoming, and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay in Luxembourg. He provided advice, recommendations, directions, and ensured our needs were met. We enjoyed drinks and ambiance at the bar and the breakfast service was excellent. The most noteworthy asset to this 5 star luxury boutique hotel was the Manager Mohammed, who elevated our experience by providing intuitive suggestions for our dining excursions and itinerary. His diligence, thoughtful attention to detail, and personalized care in the restaurants and locations as well as the level of enthusiasm he provides elevated our time at the Hotel Le Place d'Armes Luxembourg. It was a truly exceptional visit.

Should have two places to put down luggage Rethink furniture placement in some rooms. Too eclectic for example.

Staff excellent especially Alina, Mathilda and Romain. They were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the city and Luxembourg. Sebastian, who tended bar, was also very helpful with suggestions for our stay and made our evenings truly enjoyable. Good breakfast.
Our room had many wooden supports that were attractive but were difficult to maneuver around near the bed and chairs. Hit my head three times getting into bed.

The hotel was lovely and comfortable, but what really stood out was the impeccable service. The staff is so lovely and accommodating. They even brought an ice pack to my room to help me as I nursed a sprained ankle. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, conveniently close to everything. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

It's a beautiful property well situated to see Luxembourg. The breakfast was also exceptional. The bathroom was unique too, but not a problem.
It was a little expensive for what we received. For the price, champagne should have been included in breakfast, but this is incredibly nitpicking.

Location was in a bit of noisy part of town, but once through the doors, that was forgotten. Walking distance to lots of the attractions. Free public transport to the anything else. Breakfast was expansive and tasty. Dinner at the fine dinning restaurant was fantastic.
The stairs to the sleeping area could have have been lees sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Le Place d’Armes, and while the property itself is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of Luxembourg, what truly made our experience exceptional was the service—especially from Mohammed.
Mohammed is, without a doubt, one of the most fabulous hotel staff members we have ever encountered. He was warm, approachable, and completely on top of every detail throughout our stay. When we ran into an issue with our shower, he handled it immediately and went above and beyond to ensure everything was fully resolved. His professionalism and genuine care made a lasting impression.
The hotel itself is charming, well-appointed, and ideally situated for exploring the city, but it’s people like Mohammed who elevate a stay from good to unforgettable. He is truly the reason we would return—and recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.

Beautiful, historic hotel in the center of a small plaza. Staff was amazing. We had a small dog, and immediately the staff brought in a dog bed, feeder bowls and special bottled water for our dog! Confusing layout, but beautiful decor; historic feel with modern amenities. Excellent restaurant and bar onsite. Our bathroom was heavenly and luxurious, very comfortable bed; good selection of TV channels in English.
Very expensive. No breakfast. When we arrived there was no parking/valet. We had to find a public lot, walk through many blocks to find the hotel. Lots of stairs.

The facilities were lovely.
The proximity to the city center is both a positive and negative
The location was a bit off putting. The turn down service was inexistent, upon our first day at the hotel we had to wait an unreasonable amount to have our room cleaned when we have left the sign for the room to be cleaned. If turndown service only means turning on the tv and not changing the towels or setting up the bed for the night, I don’t know what it is.
