Our stay was lovely, no negatives, the host was engaging and delightful, and the staff were respectful but very attentive when required. It has a relaxing and quiet vibe about it, perfectly proportioned, plenty of privacy, and the swimming pool is simply stunning. There is an outdoor, but covered, lounge and eating area which can be used at any time to relax in. The meals were exceptional! The staff will advise and organise local trips, drivers, and have a handy tuk tuk chap on standby. We will definitely be returning and would recommend it to those wishing for a chilled and relaxing stay.

Unfortunately, We took our breakfast before coming to the Why property but we took lunch and dinner there.
Our children really enjoyed the property from the splendid garden of the Why to the delicious meal and let's not forget the beautiful swimming pool ! They loved being able to interact with the little "lady" dachshund. She is fantastic, super temperament with the kids.
We wanted to have the tea "party" in the afternoon but because of Low season they were not able to accommodate us unless we told them in advance, we made the reservation the night before, so we could not experience it (24 h min. We took something else in the menu. It as ok.
We ordered sea food for dinner ! It was really good ! We were delighted by the food and the service.

Excellent stay with our two young children (1 and 4). Very impressed with:
- Staff (especially with children around meal times).
- Food. Very good breakfast with a lot of variety and excellent dinner (and always offer of more if you wanted it)
- Pool (good for young children as step area shallow and wide enough for 4yo to stand and play - made a huge difference)
- Tuktuk service very convenient.
Also in general the hotel a very nice size - not too big and not too small. Very nice atmosphere.
We also left some belongings behind and the hotel arranged to deliver them to us in another part of the country.

Really beautiful garden and pool. The room was modern and comfortable, everything was very clean. The staff were attentive and always had a smile on their faces. A small friendly dog lives on the property. We would come back and recommend staying here.
For is it was no big deal, but the internet was a little spotty in our room.

It was a beautiful oasis which ended our trip and made us not want to leave. From the wonderful host Henrietta and her staff who were very kind, helpful and always on hand if you needed anything. A proper sized swimming pool, that looked pretty too. The food was great and considered, a different menu each evening, they dealt with food allergies. The rooms are luxury from a four poster bed to a walk through shower and a well equipped basket with everything you could need. (Yummy ginger nuts ?). A beautiful colonial Sri Lankan home from home.
