The rooms were clean, comfortable and very nice. The little terrace with the garden view was amazing, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly, they even gave us sandwishes for the airport :)
Its a bit far from the beach, but with taking tuktuks it was easy to manage!

Villa Olga is a wonderful choice if you're looking for a tranquil escape near Unuwatuna. While it's a bit removed from the beaches, we appreciated the peaceful setting and enjoyed the walks and short tuk-tuk rides. Its proximity to the Unuwatuna train station was also very convenient for us. The property is lush and green, surrounded by nature. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, and our room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and they even packed us takeaway sandwiches for our early departure. The hosts were always friendly and provided helpful tips and recommendations.

I can't find enough good words to start my reviews this place is part of heaven without exaguration, the hosts you feel like friends or part of your family doing all the best to please you and make your stay as much pleasant and comfortable as they can. PS: please be kind to them as they handle stress and rough guests and they deserve nothing but the best. everything in the room was in order and clean, never had electricity or water cut like I had in other hotels, and guys are ready to help you with everything you need (taxi driver, change, water bottles same price as in the market, etc..). One of the best breakfast I taste even in some hotels

Lovely 3 day stay in Villa Olga...situated in the Jungle with lots of wildlife. 2 great lads who run it and very friendly. Excellent breakfast and value for money...many thanks and see you again.

Both Piyushan and Jayantha were very warm hosts taking care of all aspects of the stay. Good breakfast of fruit juices, fruits, eggs, toast and tea coffee.Nice pumpkin soup too.
The location is quiet but slightly away from the main road (900m) and closer to unawatuna train station (650m)
We walked to Unawatuna beach (2.5 km) and back.Next day hired a pickme tuk tuk to turtle beach and walked along the beach to reach unawatuna beach in the evening.

Room and bathroom were clean, tidy and very comfortable. The shower even had a screen door! Room also had a mini fridge and amenities such as kettle and water. The garden was lovely and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious (fruit juices 10/10). Highly recommend staying here.
Location is in a lovely quiet corner but if you want to be able to walk places it's a little far from beaches/restaurants etc.

Very nice accommodation in Unawatuna. A bit off from the epicenter of Unawatuna (beach) but instead of it you enjoy a silence and cozy atmosphere. The railway station is very close and in street which leads to the apartment, you can get everything from food, good bars/cafes, pharmacy, scooter rental..
The room is perfectly equipped with kettle, nice shower, A/C and a very comfortable bed.
Also delicious Sri Lankan breakfast!
I would book it with any second thoughts.
A bit away from the “main Street” but for me it was actually a bonus point. So quick to arrive by tuktuk/bus at the beach or you walk around 10-15 mins.

Villa Olga is a fantastic place! Not far from the beach and from restaurants you will find super rooms with good bathroom and either terrace or balcony in a very beautiful garden ideal for bird ? (lots of birds!) and monkey ? watching, the most friendly owners you could think of ?, the best breakfast in town, and a delicious dinner if you choose to eat there. There is a super laundry service also. And that's important ... because ... you will want to stay more than a few days only ...Thank you so much again! Dankeschön! And best wishes for the future!

The two owners undoubtedly enjoy what they are doing and take care their little paradise meticulously having always their place 110% clean!
This is a magical place with a beautiful garden where friendly visitors pop up to say hi. If you are lucky you’ll see parrots and you will feed adorable black monkeys!
What was the cherry on the cake was the dinner prepared for us. Felt like a private one in a peaceful setting. No exaggeration, it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. They guys know what they are doing since they have been cooking in 5 stars hotels in the past.
Advise: don’t waste your money in noisy unawatuna touristic restaurants and try eating there ;).

Piyushan and Jayathan who run this place are an absolute pleasure to be around. The gardens and rooms are beautiful and they make the best Western breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I would definitely return.
Nothing I didn’t like, but there are no restaurants nearby so you need to take a tuk- tuk. Worth it though for the serenity.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was perfect, from the room to the breakfast to the bathroom. The room itself is well equipped with a large bed, desk and fridge and the bathroom is clean! The garden is beautiful and you can see lots of birds including parrots.
