Swarna was such a kind and hospitable host. She was so welcoming. She even invited my daughter and I to celebrate New Year with her and her son this morning. It was so lovely. I definitely recommend OK Villa to you. The breakfast was also really tasty.

Amazing value for money. The room was small but very comfortable with both AC and a fan. Everything was very clean and the included breakfast was great. In the morning you can watch monkeys jumping between nearby trees. The owner is very sweet and happy to help
It’s a bit far from the beach/town (around 25 minutes walk) and part of the road going to the hotel is pretty dark at night.

Unfortunately this was my least favorite stay during my time in Sri Lanka. The floor in the room was dirty and there was a horrible smell of fish as someone clogged the drainage with fish. Hosts were friendly, but not als welcoming as in other places in Sri Lanka. As seen on the map the location is quite far away from the beach, but still manageable by walking or bus. No need for a greedy tuktuk driver.

The owners where fantastic. The location was good for transport,eating& gym. The breakfast & afternoon tea was cheap (excellent) Thank you ❤️❤️?.
Use the shower space just a little to small. No other problems. Great place didn't want to leave but have to go home

One of the best stay in Sri Lanka!!! Peaceful, nice place. Clean, very comfortable. In room was cute gel and soup with pleasant aroma. There is a place for cooking and a nice balcony Breakfast also is very very good, tasty coffee and juice ? And so kind and friendly family! Thank you ♥️

The hosts were very sweet and friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable with a warm family like feeling ❤️. Good English, clean room, good price and a perfect, quiet and safe neighbourhood not far from the famous Unawatuna beach ?. I would certainly go back ?.

We had an amazing time here. Ended up staying four days longer than planned because of the location, host and facilities. We were able to park our tuktuk in the driveway and our host sought to fulfill any requests we had. Cleaning every day. Lovely balcony. Nice A/C. Amazing and varied Sri Lankan breakfast every day. +++

I spent here nearly 2 weeks and felt really home. Every morning I enjoyed fresh home made breakfast, a lovely view and a peaceful and calming atmosphere. A family running this villa creates such a good vibes, is so caring and attentive. All my requests were fulfilled and all my questions were answered, I had fantastic holidays! The place should be named "Villa Excellent", not just "OK" :) I am not sure that I should tell more about the place, I am afraid that when I want to come next time (and I definitely will come!) it will be fully booked a year ahead! I think I was lucky to find the best place in Unawatuna!
It is not the fault of the villa owners, but in a neighbour's house there is such an annoying selfish woman (drunk almost every evening) that keeps blabbering on a phone with a loudspeakers every evening till midnight, so loud that I could hear her even in my room, and when I tried to talk to her and ask to talk lower and reduce phone volume, she immediately become aggressive. That spoils a bit my impression... I really hope that she is not going to stay there forever and has already left! I believe the hole village breathed a sigh of relief when it happened.
