Off the main road in very touristy area, which we find great. Toom was tiny but the house has a very colonial vibe and the locals are super nice

Amazing place ! A beautiful property is a real dream house !
The administrator is always present and supportive of our needs. Breakfast was included and like a treat each morning.
For dinners it can be booked on the property and will be cooked specially for you., European Italian food , amazing dishes that not even one restaurant in the town rises up to the quality and goodness, I highly recommend

The staff were attentive. The check in and check out was smooth. Great breakfast.
The facility is extremely old, smells of oxidization or mold, it was so hard to breathe or sleep. We could not air it even by opening the window as mosquitos and other insects entered. Once windows are closed, it is dark as a prison.
Spiral narrow stairs to get to the room makes it difficult and inaccessible for some people.
It is more of a historical room/building, to visit as a museum, with wooden construction, narrow small doors, it was extremely impractical and not comfortable to stay in it. I would definitely not recommend it.

The family that owns the property was very, very friendly. The breakfast was also very good. It has a great location—very calm but close to the beach. The beds were comfortable.
The room was quite small and the furniture is already a bit old. And I found it a bit expensive compared to other rooms in the area.

Great place to stay. Cozy and clean apartment, comfortable bed. Laundry service was great (not extremely fragrances as in other places). Great breakfast.

Breakfast was fresh and served in plenty. The host were attentive and was at the table replenishing tea and other food items. Fresh fruit was at the table everyday.
Hospitality was beyond our expectation. We became part of the family. The host were friendly and was with smiles attending to our needs. We felt at home. The old nostalgic feeling was all over the premises.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Their hospitality is a great benifit. It was clean enough and worth the money. Different fruit for breakfast every day. Also eggs, bread, butter, hoppers were offered. Unawatuna main beach and main street with restaurants and shops are very close and it is enough quiet though.
