Lovely big bright room, with big balcony facing into the jungle. Saw lots of monkeys and beautiful birds hopping by! The room was clean with access to a kitchenette outside, which is handy to prepare fruit, tea and coffee and store food in the big fridge. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The location is beautiful, right in the jungle. Quite tricky to get to on foot, through the jungle on a very steep incline. Not a massive problem, but worth noting.

The host is very hospitable and helpful. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. It is located 10 minutes from Unawatuna Beach and the main street. The big advantage is that it is in a peaceful and quiet place and offers a perfect vacation. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the yard and nature where you can see various animals such as monkeys, squirrels and various types of birds. We are sorry that our stay has come to an end and thank you once again to the host for everything.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean.
The roads leading to the hotel were bumpy and took us ages to get to the location. It would have been nice if they kept bottles of water in the room.

The facilities were spotless, comfortable and comprehensive! Use of a shared kitchenette with large fridge freezer, kettle and stove; air con, fan and hot water in the rooms (hooks for nets but we didn't ask and actually didn't get bitten, think the fans help!), and Romesh was an amazing host, couldn't do enough for us.
Some reviews complain about the distance/climb up from the town but we Loved the walk - plus there's a short cut down through the jungle and we saw monkeys and fire flies, perfect! We travelled as a family and even our young kids didn't struggle. 100% recommend.
