This was one of our favourite stays, Janith and all those in Walawa Blue Sapphire were so accommodating. Their food is sensational, best we have had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! They are so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. They arranged our safari and made us a packed breakfast to take with us which was really lovely. Cannot recommend this property and the staff enough!

Delightful family who made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much, went above and beyond all the time. Super clean accommodation, great location & amazing staff. The dinner they cooked us was so delicious & breakfast prepared by 5.30am to take on Safari was lovely too. Highly recommend to others.

It seriously was the absolute best stay I had in all sri lanka. The air conditioning is very strong, the water gets warm, and the staff is incredible in making sure you have the best stay possible. The safari they can arrange for you is a great price. Furthermore, some to note, is that all their food and dinners are made from ingredients from their own garden. Absolutely no artificial flavors and some of the best meals I had. I couldn't recommend this resort enough

This is a very peaceful resort set amongst the forest. Although we only stayed one night we could tell that the staff and owners really took pride in the place and in providing amazing hospitality.
The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were spectacular. They catered for us as vegans and made the best kottu we have tried in Sri Lanka.
They told us all about the plants and the fruits on the grounds, and generally went above and beyond for us.
We could not understand why this place did not have more reviews and guests. We can only guess that there is a lot of competition in Udawalawa but this place is extremely underrated and should not be overlooked.

The staff were so friendly and it’s a homely atmosphere. Dinner was very tasty, we had the chicken Kottu with potato curry!
The rooms are clean and spacious with air conditioning.

Wow! What an awesome please to stay. We were greeted with a fresh coconut during the check in process before being taken to our double room. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the AC was good. The building is set in the property’s garden which is filled with traditional Sri Lankan medicinal plants and you feel like you are in the jungle. They have an incredible restaurant on site too where you can have home cooked dinner. We had chicken kottu and it was served with a delicious potato curry, something we hadn’t tried before. This really elevated the dish. They also prepared a picnic for us to take on safari the next morning! If you’re going to do a safari in the Udawalawe National Park, stay here!

Very friendly staff, we had a great time, they shared a lot of interesting and fun stories about Sri Lanka. Great garden with 110 ayurvedic trees and plants. We ended up staying longer than initially planned. In the morning, you'll get to hear Beethoven's "Für Elise", the signature sound of the Tuc Tuc bakery, which offers sweet snacks and swings by regularly.

Lucky (the manager) is the man you need for everything that you want. He is really a great person, so I totally recommend you staying in this accommodation. Everything is nice and clean and the value for money is perfect. Also, you should order food there. The host cooks like a goddess. Totally recommend this accommodation. They can also help with the safari.

The room was comfortable with a lovely terrance to enjoy, emerged in the jungle and nature - it was a great experience! The staff were very kind and welcoming, we were given a complimentary welcome drink on arrival, then they offered to cook us dinner which we agreed to as heavy rain was forecast. The food was INCREDIBLE. They asked us what we wanted, and they prepared it freshly for us - there was a great selection of curries and Kottu on offer, but sadly we couldn’t finish it all. Would strongly recommend eating here too! Excellent

what an amazing place in the middle of the jungle! the hosts are super friendly and helpful. the rooms have a good working A/C which gives you a nice cool room for an excellent sleep. yes there are no mosquito nets but keep the door open as short ad possible only and no annoying bugs can enter the room. the landscaping atound the condos is superb and done with love. from the balcony you can watch the wildlife in the trees - amazing!we can highly recommend to have dinner there..the vegetable kottu was excellent. we would definitely stay here again!

This place is a hidden gem. In the middle of jungle it provides all the comfort you need - free WiFi in the room, private bathroom with strong water pressure (which i learnt not to take for granted in Sri Lanka), A/C and a little fridge, privacy and breakfast which is delicious and could feed a small village. The manager is very welcoming and helpful and tries to meet your every need. As a bonus you get to watch animals like squirrels and turtles just roaming around freely. Great value for money!

Sri Lanka's hospitality at its finest. The whole team is amazing. We got welcome drink and also a drink after safari. The food was delicious for a good price. They even made us a nice breakfast package for the safari. The location is perfect with a huge garden where you can chill. The Safari tour was perfect. When we were leaving we asked about a bus stop nearby and we got a free ride there immediately, appreciated it. Thank you!
