Silent Bungalow is in the most beautiful locations, the rooms are lovely and so comfortable with amazing beds and sweet chairs outside to listen to all the birds and nature sounds. But most of all we loved our hosts, Sudath and his family - Sudath organised and took us on a brilliant safari, where we saw so many elephants and beautiful wildlife, before we came back to an amazing spread for dinner! It was my favourite meal of the trip and was absolutely delicious. We had a great sleep in huge comfy beds with mosquito nets and a shower with great water pressure. We were sad to leave after an amazing, fun and relaxing time and a yummy breakfast - another generous spread and very tasty. This is experience was worth more than the price, it was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Amazing friendly owners, cooked us the nicest dinner of the trip. Very happy with safari they organised. Appreciated the 3 beds in our room as travelling with a family. Excellent value for money.
Our balcony area was a little small for all 4 of us (only 3 chairs).

Perfect location for us to visit the elephant transit home and the national park. The owners were really friendly and cooked phenomenal food. They organised us a safari with their son who was really knowledgeable and he spotted lots of wildlife which he pointed out to us

Sudath and his family looked after us very well. They provided great breakfast and dinner, and Vikash (his son) took us on a lovely long safari.
The guesthouse is quite a long way from the village

I booked the Tour to Udawalawe Nationalpark with the Family and one of the sons took me. He knew a lot about the animals there and it was nice to see how he has a Special Connection to the Park/Nature there. I highly recommend!

Great welcome and attention from the host and his family. The host has a jeep and his so is the safari guide. We had the best Safari in a Sri Lanka (best of 3). His English was excellent and wildlife knowledge was first class. We would recommend Silent bungalow as very good value for money and thank you to the team. We had a great stay.
All good. It is a jungle based accommodation to do bring your insect repellent spray / cream.

A small, peaceful location offering very affordable and exceptionally clean accommodation. Ideal for a safari, with the owners arranging an outstanding half-day experience. The optional breakfast and dinner featured delicious, home-cooked local cuisine.would highly recommend .

very calm.
you should just keep in mind that it is surrounded with nature, so it comes with quite some mosquitos and ants. but there are mosquito nets, so nothing to worry about.

Exceptional place. Sudath and his family take excellent care of you. The food was the best we’ve had in Srilanka, the safari was exceptional, and the hosts are lovely. Can’t recommend this place enough :)

It was really perfect! We had the best breakfast ever surrounded by éléphants it was amazing. The guide was really great and understood the job of taking our Time in the safari. Everybody was super nice! We had hot water which is not the same everywhere. If you want to do a safari this is the best adress
