We had the pleasure of staying at Nature Lovers Family Resort – Udawalawe with our family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The resort is nestled in a serene, nature-filled setting, just minutes from the Udawalawe Junction. Waking up to the sound of birds and being surrounded by greenery gave us a peaceful retreat from our busy lives. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with rustic charm. Our family room had everything we needed and more.
What stood out the most was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond—from arranging a private safari tour with a knowledgeable guide to preparing delicious home-cooked meals using fresh local ingredients. They even took extra care to cater to our kids, making the whole experience family-friendly and stress-free.
The resort also helped us book a safari into the national park, which was an absolute highlight. We spotted elephants, buffalo, and numerous bird species—all in their natural habitat.
Whether you’re looking to explore wildlife or just relax in a natural, eco-friendly environment, Nature Lovers Family Resort is the perfect choice. We left with hearts full of gratitude and beautiful memories. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone who loves nature and genuine hospitality!

The best safari experience in Udawalawe! We stayed at this Safari Resort and everything was perfect. The safari was absolutely amazing — our driver was very knowledgeable about the national park and all the animals. He knew where to go and what to look for, making the whole experience unforgettable. We saw elephants, birds, crocodiles, and so much more! The hotel itself is clean and peaceful. The Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast were delicious — full of flavor and made with care. The hospitality was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. This is the perfect place for anyone who loves wildlife, good food, and a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!.

“We had an unforgettable experience at this place. The owner personally organized a fantastic safari for us, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. We were lucky enough to see many elephants up close, which was an incredible experience. Our driver was excellent—so knowledgeable about the national park and its wildlife. We even had the chance to enjoy breakfast in the heart of the park, which made the experience even more magical. This safari is one of the best we’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. We were welcomed with a refreshing juice on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The safari was well organized, followed by a delicious breakfast.
