The staff very friendly. They show you deer on property and take you to see thousands of fruit bats at sunset. The go above and beyond to provide good service.

This was one of our favourite hotels and all of Sri Lanka. The Son and father are nothing short of amazing with their service. They always tried to make us comfortable and checking often to see if there’s anything needed.
The hotel is impeccably clean the beds are very comfortable. The pillows are soft. The dinner buffet was fantastic, we ate there both nights - they also have good wine at a really good price! The pool was always clean and nice refreshing without being too cold. The sun beds were comfortable. There was umbrellas for shade. They even offered alcohol to enjoy pool side. I would actually WhatsApp the son with my drink request and he would bring my drink to the pool!!
They have really comfortable chairs to sit and relax on the balcony and just get lost in the sounds of the forest while reading a book. I would recommend anybody to stay here. I would come back if I’m ever in Sri Lanka again.
They organized our safari for us at a great price, they were up early to send us off. We had a great safari guide. Highly recommend booking with them!
Lastly, they offer great car services with very good pricing and excellent drivers to pick you up from your previous destination to this hotel or for onward travel. This is where we met our driver that ended up taking us around more than half the country! If you want an amazing driver ask the hotel to request Deleep for you.

When available the owner or his son were communicative. The pool area was inviting and well used! The setting in nature.
The bathroom had continuous sewer smell, I requested incense to help. The room was small considering the price and I was given downstairs on entry corner far from quiet I requested .

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nature House was one of our favorite places we stayed during our month in Sri Lanka. The setting is stunning—surrounded by jungle, with a balcony overlooking it all.
The room was comfortable, the pool beautiful, and the half-board meals were outstanding. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the curry buffet dinner was a real highlight.
Thilak, who manages the property, is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. He also arranged a wonderful safari for us in Udawalawe National Park.
A peaceful, welcoming place in a gorgeous location—we would happily return.

This is an amazing hotel. The owner is very sweet, the hotel is family-run and family owned. Wonderful food and service, the pool was beautiful. Really great the organization of the safari, they even gave us a little breakfast for the early adventure. Couldn’t recommend this more!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed and we enjoyed spending a few hours at the pool. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. The price was also very reasonable. We paid more in Ella for a hotel that wasn’t nearly as nice as Nature House. Would absolutely recommend.

So welcoming.
Lovely hotel, walking distance to the Elephant Transit house.
The food, the hospitality, the help, the room everything was just right.
We got to the hotel about 1pm and asked if we could do the afternoon safari at 2. no problem whatsoever.
We saw a heard of elephants with the babies feeding and the whole family interacting.
Never normally stay in a hotel for the evening but had dinner there and it was amazing. same with breakfast, would highly recommend.

This place is really great. The room was beautiful and the staff were very kind. They helped me organize a safari, which was an amazing experience, and also arranged a driver for my transfer to another city. I had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good. I 100% recommend this place

A stunning family run hotel. Our rooms - the pool - AND the opportunity to visit the Elephant Orphanage and do the best safari ( 4 hours up close with elephants ) - all organised by the hotel - really made our stay. The breakfast and curry buffet for dinner one evening made this stay PERFECT - this is a must stay place

We loved our stay here, the room is very comfortable and the balcony overlooking the trees was a nice place to relax. The kids enjoyed the warm pool. We also took the safari from the hotel and it was a very nice experience. The host is very welcoming and attentive to details. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here and the buffet dinner is very very good.

Outstanding hospitality. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Swimming pool is perfect to relax after a long taxi ride or after the morning safari. This hotel is a gem in sri lanka would definitely recommend and the safari was also provided by the hotel staff that was really great.
