We had the most amazing dinner here. The hosts cooked a vegetarian meal for us on arrival. The price was so affordable and we have decided it was the best dinner we had in Sri Lanka. The host arranged a second jeep to accompany his jeep to take us on a half day safari. The price was fantastic and he waiting to avoid big crowds, took us to see many birds, crocodiles and elephants with only our jeeps at the sites. He even packed a lovely breakfast with tea which we ate at the waterside. He took us in the evening to see the baby elephants at the orphanage as well. We highly recommend this home!

This home stay was amazing. We all agreed that the dinner we had was the best we had in our 12 days in Sri Lanka. The food was fresh, ample and so delicious. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The owner of the home provided the best half day safari for us. He took time and didn't rush safari and not only showed us elephants but many other interesting animals. He even brought breakfast and tea to enjoy on the lakeside.

quiet location with a good quality room:
tile floors, soft mattresses and pillows, AC, towel rack, hot water, clean sheets and towels
family is extremely friendly and welcoming. they organized some coconuts for us because we like them so much and stood up early to provide us with a packed lunch for the safari. Ganga cooks delicious meals and Niroshin is a safe driver whose taxi services we enjoyed.
cassia Udawalawe is a perfect place for a safari in the NP, approximately 10 minutes from the park entrance

Super friendly family! Place is quite and chill! We really like it, even though it’s A bit far from the town.
I think it’s perfect for the group of people as they have 5 or 6 rooms and grass area in front of the house!

Breakfast was huge and the family was so nice and accommodating. Amazing value for money and they organized dinner and safari for me as well as a taxi for my onward travel to Ella. The room was really big for the price and had air conditioning
