Everything was great, the staff was so kind, they gave us tea and food. The room was clean and the bathroom was really good. We had also a little terrace where we could enjoy the nature and the birds around the property. We also made a safari with them and it was just amazing, we’ve seen so many animals and the guide had a really great knowledge. We will come back! Thanks!

The garden of the property was beautiful. The room is not spacious but it has everything we need. Hot shower and updated AC units were amazing. The couple owner and their kids are super sweet and friendly. They arrange safari or transportation. Don’t hesitate to contact them in advance!

I stayed in a lovely little cabin set in front of a rice field — a peaceful and scenic location. For the price paid it was great! The highlight of my stay was definitely the safari with the owner. I’m convinced it was one of the best safari experiences available for visiting Yala National Park. The breakfast was excellent, and the service from the owners was impeccable. There’s also a great restaurant for dinner just 500 meters away. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived Tharindu and his wife Chathuri made us feel right at home by offering us a nice fresh juice. This was only just the beginning of an amazing 3 days at Wild Breeze. The cabin is located right next to a beautiful rice field and has a comfortable bed, AC and a modern bathroom with warm water. The surrounding area is very quiet, the only thing you hear are the animals such as monkey, squirrels and birds (which we really liked). Wifi also works well. We chose to let Chathuri arrange the breakfast for us, and it was absolutely amazing! Freshly made each morning, it tasted great. The breakfast area is right next to the rice field, so we could enjoy it while the sun was rising over the fields ? After reading some of the raving reviews on this page we decided to book the full day safari with them. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience, but I'll try anyway ? Tharindu said we had to leave early (4.30 am) to be able to get to the park early and see some animals in the morning time, because that's when they're most active. I thought it was a bit early, but when we arrived at the gate of the park, I was so happy that we left when we did. We were the 3rd car in line to enter, and the 30 minutes after we arrived 100+ other jeeps were queuing up behind us! ? When the gate opened we quickly entered and Tharindu took a left, a different route than most other jeeps were taking. He was constantly trying to do the opposite of what most jeeps were doing. The result was that we didn't have get an over touristy tour feeling. On some spots we were completely alone, on others we were with a few other jeeps. Only on a few occasions (when a leopard was spotted for example), a lot of jeeps gathered. But even then he found a way to position our jeep so we got a good view of the animal.

Lovely warm welcome despite us being early, stunning location from bungalow across the rice field, excellent aircon, great hot powerful shower,. Stayed in a cute bungalow with nice covered terrace to relax on. Had a freshly cut coconut from the tree as a welcome, you could not have got it fresher. Owners are very welcoming and friendly with great knowledge of the area and safari. Breakfast was traditional and freshly made. Exceptional value for money and we would highly recommend staying there for a friendly comfortable stay

Tharindu and his family are very friendly. They make a great Job. The Safari an the lunch were incredibly!!

So Friendly People Nice and clean rooms He is also a great tourguide for jeep safari, we see so much! Croc,elephants, sloth bear! En so much more! I recomands this place with the tourguide giham.

We had an awesome stay here. Absolutely stunning location. Super comfortable room. Owner & his wife incredibly friendly & professional. We also had the best food. We will never forget our experience here .highly recommend both the hotel & safari with the owner Gihan.

Beautiful and peaceful location, very happy to find this place and would highly recommend it. Rooms are large, clean and private. Nice covered outside seating area for relaxing in the shade. Owners are super friendly and local home cooked food is delicious. Very accommodating with eating times if you stay out too late and want breakfast at lunchtime! Safari trips also available. I could have easily stayed for longer and didn't want to leave.

The host met us, he was very helpful and friendly. Quick check-in, good room, cosy place outside the house with nice view on rice fields and palm trees. Next morning (very early - at 05:20) he took us to Yala national park. It was amazing experience: we saw a lot of birds and animals (mongoose, wild boar, buffalo and even a family of elephants: he called other guides to find were they were and managed to show us). We made so many good photos;) Thank you so much!

Gihan and his lovely family were incredible hosts. We absolutely loved our stay at Wild Breeze and the safari at Yala. Gihan is a brilliant safari guide and has amazing knowledge of the Yala National Park and all the animals in it. We also did a cooking class with Gihan and his wife, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our stay was an incredible experience and we hope to keep in contact with them in the future.

Perfect place to stay for doing the Yala safari. We did the full day safari with Gihan (owner) who organised it perfectly, he was an expert guide plus provided food and water for the trip. The accommodation was clean, quiet and there’s a good restaurant just down the road for some dinner (Flavours).

We had an amazing stay at Wild Breeze. The room was very spacious and clean, with good AC and a fan. Also the shower had a very good pressure (quite rare in Sri Lanka so far!). Each room also has a very nice terrace with a beautiful view on palm trees and rice fields, that was so calm and peaceful. The place is also so special thanks to the couple of owners who were so kind and welcoming. Chathuri cooked us delicious and generous breakfast, while Tharindu took us on an amazing safari, thanks to him and his knowledge we could even see a leopard, all of this for a very good price. He also rented us some bikes to explore the temples and the lake he told us about (beautiful by the way if you have time to go!). They always did their best for us to really enjoy our stay. Thanks again !! We highly recommend this place.

Friendly and helpful couple that can arrange activities and transport. Their associated safari company does great tours of Yala NP.

Gihan and his wife are extremely friendly and welcoming people that made us feel at home from the get-go. Their place is beautifully situated in the middle of the nature but still close to the city centre. The cabanas are very modern, clean and artfully decorated. The shower was the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka. I wish we had more time to enjoy their hospitality and can only recommend wild breeze for your stay in Yala/Tissa!
