The location is just a few minutes away from shopping, historic landmarks, and restaurants. On our last day they were even kind enough to prepare us box breakfast as we had to leave early into to jungle for safari. with the host; it was affordable and a lot of fun. We had breakfast inside the park,

Fantastic family hotel. They helped organize our safari, took us to see the baby elephants feed and prepared the most fabulous evening meal. This was better than staying in a five star hotel. Highly recommended for your stay and for your safari needs.

if you are a group of people this would be optimal choice as its a house with living area and kitchen. it gives off a nice vibe, they bring the ingredients for breakfast and you sort of make yourself at home. if you have time pls make a safari with them.
it will be totally worth it.

Very clean, great kitchen facilities, wifi and hot water. Good view from balcony. Loved the garden and the location. Gave a best service at yala safari. Vehicle condition is very good n comfortable. Driver also kindly. I recommend without any doubt.

cool nest yala . Wonderful location with full of natural surrounding. Environment is soothing and calm. This place is healing your soul. We only ordered breakfast and it was rotti with dhal and lunu miris. We ordered tempered potato dish and it was one of the best dishes iv had. next day we drove to national park for the safari which was arrange by hotel. The Safari was great, we saw a lot of animals. The host is very professional and serious.

Amazing stay in tissamaharama. Clean, comfy rooms, Icey cold AC, , nice breakfast and and smiling staff who were happy to help with anything we needed. close to many restaurant options and main attraction sites around. organizing the safari to yala national park. they supplied a small snack and water during the safari, then on return we were supplied with an awesome breakfast, no shortage of great food. All in all, highly recommended, everything you need for your time in yala.

anu is an extraordinarily friendly and lovely host. He helped us to arrange the arrival and departure to the hotel and even drove us to our next stop by himself. The atmosphere within his little paradise is fantastic. Also it's not far from the entrance of the National park and anu arranged a wonderful safari for us as well. Great hotel. Wonderful atmosphere, really friendly and accommodating.

Clearly the best homestay that we had in Sri Lanka! It’s peaceful, service is perfect, breakfasts are generous & so good, and the view of course…. We loved it so much. They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great!

We stayed for 3 nights and rented the ‘villa with 2 rooms’ and 3 extra rooms. The villa is really great as the picture shows and it has good common area and very private. It’s all one building, but the villa is ground floor with private access, the other 5 avialble are: 3 on second floor with shared bathroom and top / 3rd floor with 2 rooms and attached bathroom. the villa’s room is very spacious and the others are not. WiFi was very good and fast.
The host is the most flexible and accommodating one I have experienced so far, and he was great. If one would only choose for the host, this would be it. The value/price is fantastic for this place, the villa is highly recommended and I believe that is what most people are raving about in these reviews.
There is no fire place, no bathtub, no iron, no dvd, no hand sanitizers etc, the description is not appropriate and I wonder whether it was just a copy/paste. So just watch the pictures. The rooms are clean, and the villa space is clean. The other common areas on the 2nd floor might not be the cleanest. Unfortunately the shared bathroom door couldn’t be locked.
It seems that staying for a night in these non-villa rooms would be fine for 1 or 2 nights. The “villa” is great for multiple nights.

We had an amazing day doing the safari. The driver was great, trying to show us as many animals as possible and thanks to him we saw every kind of animal of the parc, even one leopard. he really did his best. He was really kind and was answering every question we had about the animal. I really recommend this experience.

Beautiful & amazing hotel and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. They will bend over backwards to help you. The food is absolutely delicious & compliments to the family. The safari (ran by cool nest owner) was wonderful. Our driver was knowledgeable and tailored it to our needs. jeep was comfy.
