We had amazing stay at breezy lake and really felt like part of the family. The family that manages the place made sure we had everything we needed. They arranged pick up from our previous hotel and to our next hotel, made sure to book the Yala Safarj for us and even arranged breakfast and dinner for us with a very short notice. The rooms were very clean and neat and the bathroom was one of the best ones we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. We loved every part of our stay at Breezy Lake and would definitely come back!

This place is amazing! All the staff (especially Lakshi) made us feel at home, even though we stayed only one night. In the morning, we had a peacock in the tree right in front of our house—super cute. The price is very fair and definitely worth it. The place is new and clean, and the breakfast is good. But the atmosphere, the peace and calm, the nature… please go and try it yourself—you will love it.

One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed at!
The room is big, with a huge and comfortable bed, AC available and the bathroom is amazing. The area is very quiet, perfect to relax after a long and tiring day.
Lovely staff, they will do all they can to accommodate your needs. They can also organize the safari for you.
We highly recommend staying here, you will love it!

Lakshi and the team are so lovely - going above and beyond to take care of us. She helped organise a safari for a really good rate and we were lucky to see all the animals including a leopard and sloth bear. The pool was lovely, and a laundry service was offered which was also great

A true paradise with heartfelt hospitality ?
We had the privilege of spending a few days at Breezy Lake, and we couldn't be more thrilled! The hotel is nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by freely roaming peacocks and a refreshing pool that’s perfect for cooling off on hot days.
The entire hotel is impeccably clean, and the modern, stylish rooms leave nothing to be desired.
A special thanks goes to Lakshi, who took care of us with such warmth and dedication. She not only assisted us whenever needed but also organized a festive meal for my girlfriend's birthday — a moment we will never forget!
We felt completely at home and can't wait to return. If you're looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality, this is the place to be!

Lovely quiet location with very comfortable rooms. The hosts were really helpful in arranging a safari and showing us some of the local sites, they were super friendly and we enjoyed meeting them. We were also very grateful for the delicious Sri Lankan food that was provided at our request.

The staff including Lakshi were just the warmest and kindest people. They cooked for me a simple home made dinner last minute on my arrival and woke up at 4am to make a simple breakfast to take on my safari. They always were smiling. They tried their best to accommodate and fix the wifi which was not working.
Wifi was not working. I had originally booked for 2 nights but checked out after one night. There were ants and small insects everywhere all over the bedsheets and floor. And unfortunately 3 huge cockroaches were around the bathroom/cabinets and bed area. Could not sleep at all. I think plumbing and rooms need maintenance and seal. The bedsheats although cleaned had questionable stains. The owner on booking.com was nice enough to charge for the one night only and only reason I agreed was the staff were amazing.

We stayed at this accommodation while visiting Yala Park, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable and offered a unique touch with their differently styled bathrooms, which I absolutely loved. The view from the rooms was breathtaking and very relaxing, with a beautiful lake nearby that added to the charm.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They prepared a delicious Sri Lankan dish for us and even surprised us with a traditional Sri Lankan dessert – curd with honey. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!
The only downside of this place is that it's a bit far from the center, but that’s also what makes it so unique and peaceful. If I had the chance, I would definitely book here again!

I recently stayed at Breezy Lake during my holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is excellent, with comfortable rooms and great service. However, I noticed that the garden maintenance could be improved slightly to match the high standards of the rest of the property. Looking forward to visiting again once this small aspect is addressed!

The property is located in a beautiful place near the lake, we could see many birds and squirrels in the garden. The design of the bungalows was very modern and nice, the furniture was of high quality. Staff was friendly and helpful, they organised a safari to Yala park for us, gave us some snacks for the road which was nice, and also prepared a wonderful breakfast.
The property was not functioning for some time due to crisis in the country and you may see that pool are garden have not been maintained for a long time. While I can understand that it takes some time to get back on feet and improve the maintenance of the place, what I think should be improved right away is the cleaning. That bungalow deserves to be cleaned properly, the bathroom, the mirrors, the floor and the bedsheets were not clean, also there was the smell in the room was not nice. I think if this is taken into consideration, I would definitely recommend staying there. Also, please, keep in mind that road to Yala national park took us approx 1 hour, which may be an issue for some. And the internet is equal to none btw, so good if you would like to disconnect :)
