Wonderful
Very nice clean room and bathroom. Pretty close to the centre of town but also very quiet at night. Great breakfast!
As someone else mentioned there is no heating so it can be a bit cool but this was a nice break from the heat of the rest of the country. They provide cozy blankets so it didn’t bother us!
Balcony could use a little washing to make it more pleasant to spend time on, but not a big problem.

The property was well maintained and gave a very pleasant feel. The owner received us warmly and even offered tea on arrival, which was a nice gesture. Raghu, the caretaker, was exceptional—always helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
The food was excellent. We enjoyed both Indian breakfast and dinner. Dinner, especially the roti with mixed vegetable curry, was simply outstanding.
The owners (husband and wife) were very friendly and made us feel at home. With such hospitality and service, our overall experience was wonderful.
Gardens are very well maintained. Though it was cold (13degrees) we enjoyed a lot at this property.
Sorry, I do not have anything like that.

Location is good, breakfast was good, room was clean
It was very cold overnight and room was cold with no ac. When I asked the owners I got a heater but she came and take it after 15 min. She did bring a wool blanket but it was smellly and seemed not clean . Ended up not sleeping entire night

Great stay, like home! Clean, good beds, hot water. Quiet, beautiful house! 10 min walk to the city center. The owner is very friendly and helpful, always there for us. Radhu took us on a hike and showed us interesting places in the area. Nuwara Eliya is a nice place and the road here is interesting. I definitely recommend this guesthouse and would come again! Thank you!

Wonderful
Brilliant for a short stay in Nuwara Eliya. Small walk from the town centre in a quiet location.
The large room and bathroom provided a lot of comfort for our short stay. Tea or coffee was provided on arrival and in the morning.
They arranged for our tuk tuk for an early check out.
Very satisfied.

Staff were available at the property 24/7 and were incredibly helpful. We did a guided walking tour with Ragu to the tea plantations and local farms which we really enjoyed. Lovely property with a common lounge area so you can sit somewhere other than your bedroom.

Loved the faded charm of this old colonial building. Relaxing spot to take tea! Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Away from hustle and bustle, but easily walkable to restaurants etc. Staff arranged a great Tuk Tuk tour, with Ranji, to Hakgala gardens and Lovers Leap waterfall.
Would have preferred service charge included up front. It came as a surprise (my mistake for not scrolling?).

We really enjoyed our stay at Hill Town Cottage. The peaceful location is ideal as it’s close enough to the centre of town for a walk to all the main sights, but out of the busy traffic. It is also close to some good cafes including the excellent Noshers. We had a good balcony and the room was really clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and breakfast was ok.

Absolutely loved our stay. Ragu was so helpful, attentive and kind. Enjoyed all of our interactions with him.
Great location - walkable to anywhere but quiet.
The room was fantastic - a large space with a very comfy bed and great shower (best in our travels here).
The common spaces are equally as great. Comfortable sitting places inside and out to enjoy the flower gardens and a cup of tea.
Loved everything.

Wonderful
Lovely staff, super clean place, and good breakfast. They helped me organize transport to and from the train station as well as a little tour of view points.
My room was a bit cold as it was really rainy the first day, but the bed had a thick blanket on it, so I was warm and slept well.
