Good location, nice breakfast area and good food. The room is basic, but the biggest highlight of the stay is the host. He took plenty of time to listen to our ittinerary and shared excellent tips. Tips, that save money and bring you to lesser-known gems of Sri Lanka. Kalum's English is also very good, which I found to be quite rare in Sri Lanka.
It would help to have hooks in the room and bathroom to hang clothes.

The host is amazing to talk to and will be able to tell you so many things about the area. He even helped one of the other guests with some fresh milk and some non-touristy trails in the nearby wildlife areas.
The breakfast was wholesome and delicious. The highlight was the watermelon strawberry juice.
The room was cozy (a bit on the smaller side but enough for solo traveler). There is hot water available for shower.
The area around the property is quite green and lush. The location is a bit inside from the main road but not too far from it and walkable.

Note: Nuwara Eliya sits at an elevation of over 1,800m, so the climate is cooler and it often rains. Be sure to pack a sweater and a rain jacket.
I had an amazing stay here. Kalum, the host, knows the town inside out and is always willing to share advice to ensure you get the best experience based on your interests. Trust his recommendations!
The room was spotless. Spacious, comfortable and with perfectly working hot water. There are three guest rooms that share a common living room, which is a great opportunity to meet and chat with other travelers.
The location is excellent. Just a few minutes walk from the city center, Victoria Park and Gregory Lake.
Breakfast was delicious and served with a beautiful view over the tea plantations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just accommodation - this is a true experience.

The food. Best we had in our sri lanka trip so far. Also, he gave us a proper plan to roam around. Room and location is nice. Beautiful place and easy to get to the city. Also their tuktuk driver Rashik was a very nice guy. You can take him to roam around the city

The owner is very friendly, communicative (good English) and knowledgeable. He helped me plan my stay in Nuwara Eliya, including organising a tuk-tuk and packed breakfast for an early morning walk at Horton Plains.
The room is clean and comfortable, including with hot shower (needed in Nuwara Eliya!). It is located on a hill but walkable from the city centre.

Located on a hill just out of town but easy to walk to the centre for dinner etc. Tea and biscuits on arrival in the common longue which has big sofa and chairs. Double room was big enough but not huge. Very comfortable bed. No need for a/c or fan as it gets chilly at night here. Big comforter on bed for warmth. Clean. Good bathroom with good water pressure. Breakfast was a bit better than average. A good solid choice for Nuwara Eliya.
I arrived on a motorbike and there was no directional sign to the accommodation on the road going up the hill and Maps isn't accurate, so it was tricky to find. A small sign with an arrow would have been useful. If you arrive in a car or tuk tuk they probably know where it is.

Whereby it is less the space itself (which is fine but as modest as the price of course) that deserves the highest rating, but it is the genuine care of the host! Expressed also with the generous breakfast he serves. It made me feel warm and good and will be remembered for a long time.

I had a fantastic stay at Lassana Villa Homestay in Nuwara Eliya. Kalum, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming, recommending a great trek in the area. The room was comfortable, but the real standout was the breakfast—easily the best I’ve had in two months of traveling South Asia. Fresh, flavorful, and made with care, it was the perfect start to the day. If you’re looking for warm hospitality and great food, this is the place to stay!
