We had a lovely stay at Green Gregory Villa. You have a little slice of heaven that was so peaceful and calm. We loved having a big window to open up looking over the tea plantations or the option to sit outside with a cup of tea and look out over the view (bonus- kettle and tea provided!). The room was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable

I stayed in one of the rooms at this guest house and was very pleased with the experience. The room was exceptionally clean and well prepared, ensuring a comfortable stay. An excellent experience. Wonderful person. Really co-operative host. If I come back to nuara eliya I will stay in this place. Will not forget the wonderful breakfast. Had a good time. You should book if you find a chance.

Nuwara Eliya was special because of the family running this homestay - they’re the reason it felt unforgettable. I had the most wonderful experience here, and I honestly teared up when it was time to leave. Solo travel can sometimes feel lonely, but this family made me feel like I was home. Like I was part of their family.
Everything else was great too - the room, the food (amazing!!!), all of it. There are only two rooms, so it’s peaceful and quiet. There’s a small kitchen with a kettle and fridge, so you can make yourself a cup of tea and sit outside your room, looking out over the tea plantations.
Just a heads up: Nuwara Eliya gets a bit chilly, but the rooms come with extra blankets, so you’ll be warm and cozy.

Green Gregory is a great place. A clean, comfortable room with tea and coffee provided in a shared area. The best part is the view of the green hills from the back patio area. The hosts serve a pretty good breakfast for LKR 1,500.
I requested a tuk-tuk to take me to some local sites and instead they got me an overpriced guy in a fancy Prius who didn't even know the best way to get to Lover's Leap Waterfall..

ALL. The place is quiet and peaceful, has a very beautiful view facing the hill but so close with shortcut to the famous Gregory Lake. There are some hiking place nearby and also nice tea plantation that you can just walk through and enjoy the view. Not far from this place, you also can see beautiful sunset (they showed me where to spot it, even walked with me) and also the distant view of Adam’s Peak. The room is sparkling clean and warm for cool mountain weather in Nuwara Eliya. It has also small common area where you can make tea and coffee, and enjoy it in the nice terrace overlooking the hill. The breakfast is amazing, so generous and so tasty! The best part is the host! This is a family owned homestay and they are so nice, caring and helpful, and really do their best to make my stay really comfortable. Highly recommended and def will come back. Thank you Manoj, Priyanka, and Maleesha for giving me second home in Nuwara Eliya.

It was very comfortable and clean accommodation with wonderful hosts. Our room had 2 large beds and a bathroom. The kitchen with kettle, sink, fridge and table is shared with other guests (who were not there during our stay).
Everything was very clean and comfortable. There is also a really thick blanket in case it gets colder at night.
We were served a very sumptuous and tasty breakfast.
The location is a little away from the city. Approx. 25 min walk. There is a shortcut to Gregory Lake
Really recommendable because it is quiet with a great view and very friendly hosts!

Perfect stay! Highly Recommend!
Host - A lovely family of 4. They are one of the most helpful and kind people I have ever met. They will always try to make your stay great. Their local wisdom is something that made the trip great!
Rooms - They have 2 rooms. They are modest with good washroom facility and hot water. They have a kitchen and dining space too.
Views - From the rooms, you can get a breath-taking view of tea gardens. You can't see the lake but the tea plantation hill view is more than worth it.
Location- although it doesn't show on google maps, but you can walk down to the Lake Gregory easily within 10 mins through a short cut. The hosts will guide you. Convenient location if you wanna stay in Gregory Lake area. PickMe rides and food delivery is available here. The area is extremely quiet too. So if you are here to relax, this is the place!

Lovely simple place in a quiet part of town. Really lovely family who were genuine and kind. We had dinner there both nights that we stayed which was varied, delicious and filling.the breakfast was massive and yum. Really kind and helpful with our 5 month old bub. The views were nicer than the photos.

We loved our stay here. The family that run the place made us feel right at home. They served us breakfast and dinner in their dining room. They were very sweet to our little kids and we had a great stay. They were also able to accommodate my husbands many food intolerances. There is a shared area outside the room with a fridge, table and tea and coffee making facilities that was handy.
