Bed is comfy. Place is very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We liked having a kitchen to cook meals in. AC worked very well. They also provide drinking water.
The most unnerving thing was constantly hearing the scuttling and chirping of cockroaches moving around in the walls and ceiling. Our room was very small and the window faced directly into a cement wall so it felt a bit like a prison. Hot water did not always work. :( The room is also not at all soundproof so we could hear people walking upstairs, and anything going on in the common area. We were kept awake by loud fellow guests at 5am because of this. Would have liked to see some cooking basics too like salt and oil as we did not want to buy big containers of these for one or two meals. The amount of flies in the common area was frustrating as they were constantly landing on us and our food. Keeping the area sealed off or fly traps would be much appreciated.

Room was spacious and cozy. Value for the money. And very reasonable price.
Room had kitchen and dining table too. Bathroom was clean.
Parking is available by the road only, but not a issue.
Roads to the villa are very narrow, drive carefully. Don't trust google maps always.

Amazing Place. Super clean - the cleanest place we stayed in Sri Lanka!! Hot showers, cold AC, comfortable beds. There is a kitchen with all of the facilities, tea and coffee was provided and the living room had a tv which we had to ourselves as we were the only guests!
Location is a lovely quiet area, listening to the birds in the morning with a cup of tea was like heaven ?
We also enjoyed watching the fish as there are 2 tanks and a fish pond, and there are some of the cutest dogs with the owners upstairs. The staff were fantastic.
Wish we found this place earlier and booked a longer stay, but we are flying home today.

The room wasn't very clean.The bed was also not clean. The wash room was dirty..It had both dead and alive cockroaches.. and worms were coming out of the washroom commode. I got a very bad rash after using the commode.

I had a lovely stay at Home from Home. The staff was amazing. Seesha was always there to answer my questions and help me out. I felt really at home. The owner, Sam was super helpful and gave me good tips for my trip. There are lots of animals, cats, dogs and fishes. The dogs are so so sweet. The place is very quiet. I found an amazing vegeterian buffet nearby. You should definitely check it out. The neighborhood is very peaceful and safe. It was a very nice place to start my trip! Thank u so much!
