The place was very clean and comfortable, room was spacious and WiFi worked really well, which was important as I needed to work during the stay.
The owner and his wife were very kind and accommodating and made us feel truly at home. Would definitely stay here again!

This was a super place to stay. The location is right across from the beach. A little grocery store is two minutes away to buy snacks. All the restaurants and bars and shops are so close.
The room was lovely and clean and had AC which was a godsend.
The people who own this place were wonderful. I had a bad experience previously and they made me feel safe here and took care of me from the minute I arrived. Wonderful people. So kind.

Aruna is a one of a kind host, he will make you feel right at home in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are very spacious, new and very clean. The whole property is managed very well and with care and attention to detail. For the money, this is the best value you will ever get.

Immaculate and spacious although probably built as a show room. The rooms are clean, modern and tasteful. The large rooms are well, though sparsely appointed.
It’s close to the beach, but you cannot see it from the the property.
It’s on the main road and very close to the railway track. Trains start very early in the morning.

I liked EVERYTHING!)
The owner of the house is a wonderful person, as is his family. Very kind people who will help with any questions. The room was huge, clean, with a comfortable bed. There was a fan above the bed and an air conditioner located towards the bed. There were nice chairs and a coffee table + a cosmetic table with a large mirror + convenient lighting. In general, the light in the room is a separate story: there were several lighting options. I really liked the materials that were used for the room, nothing extra. Wi-Fi works without problems throughout the entire area.
I had breakfast included. For me, it was filling.
I was very pleased with the beach: a) three minutes walk b) clean c) no people. I could calmly leave my things and go into the water
There is no point in going out onto the balcony, it is very hot :D
There was no refrigerator in the room itself
There is a train station nearby. On the first day, the noise from the train scared me. But I personally did not hear anything while sleeping.

The room was huge, very comfortable, with a large bed, a balcony and a big, super clean bathroom. It is absolutely spotless and the comfort is like in a 5 star hotel. There is aircon and a fan and wifi is strong. The villa is 3 mins walk to a local beach or around 10-15 mins on the bus to Hikkaduwa beach. The villa is close to many restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. Most importantly, Aruna and his family make your stay amazing. Highly recommended

The rooms are very big, clean and cosy. The bed was perfect and shower excellent. The owner and his family are so kind and nice and they make perfect breakfast.
And only 100 metres to the beach.
We recommend this to all people, families ,couples or singles. And we will come again. 10 point to Villa Marina!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Most friendly and helpful host ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had varieties of food. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The breakfast was amazing - pancakes, omlette, fresh fruit, coffee, juice! The hosts are so wonderful and can’t do enough to make sure you have the best stay at their place. Beds are super comfy, the room is beautiful and spacious and clean. I felt so at home being here. I can’t recommend this place enough, it was the best place I have stayed in a long time :)

Lovely staff, huge, clean and comfy rooms! Sri Lankan breakfast was just amazing!
The property is a bit far from the heart of Hikkaduwa and it wasn’t right at the beach. You have to cross the main road to get to the ocean. Train and the road were very loud

That’s the best place in Hikkaduwa, the room is spacious, very clean and the friendliest stuff we ever met!!! Breakfast is super tasty, you can order it whenever it’s comfortable for you. It was so nice that we stayed here for 1 month and definitely come back if we decide to get back to Hikkaduwa.
