I liked being near the beach. When I booked it, I had no idea that I picked a place that was central to all the places that I like. There was Mexican food down the street which is my main state of food. There were two great Italian restaurants. There was a live music place down the street perfect.
There was no negatives for me. I was really happy with my room. They gave me a top floor room with a beautiful view. And there was a rooftop deck right above me.

I am 88 years old, live in London - travelled alone - loved my 5 nights in Negombo.
Excellent location - directly on the beach - 50 metres from waterside restaurant for good food and to view sunset - main street, restaurants and shops a few steps away
The apartments are on a cool breezy corner with the sound of the sea -
Owned onsite by very friendly welcoming family, ask if you want anything -
Spotless, comfortable room and bathroom - Very secure house and apartments
Be careful as local pavements are uneven - like London

No internet. Hot in the room. If you want AC you must to pay extra. The view is not good and the price is to high.

The family that runs TMS Beach House was delightful - helpful and enthusiastic about the highlights of Negombo. The room was spacious and comfortable, and exceptionally clean. I hope to stay there again. By the way, the price was great for a place right on the beach.

Although I booked a room without A/C I could take an A/C room with little add on price. The owners are very nice and helpful. The location is next to the beach and to a dive base with restaurant. The owner's daughter runs a scooter and bicycle rental and I rented a good quality bicycle for a fair price. Also they provide pick up and drop off service to the airport. A super breakfast restaurant with prices for locals is available in short walking distance. Highly recommended homestay.

Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Very good location, right on the beach. Bathrooms are very good and clean.
Cockroaches and mosqitos. But that's a problem of whole area.

Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations because I didn't expect such a nice experience with my so short stay.
The owner's family was so kind and friendly so we really enjoyed talking.
The room was clean and the view of the beach from the 3rd floor was also good.
I really want to visit there again and I'll take more time to enjoy its great beach location!
The staircase was a bit narrow to lift my big luggage.
