Lovely, homely, welcoming guesthouse, run by a wonderful couple and great staff. Not like a hotel, this is Judith's and Saman's home and business. We arrived as guests and left feeling more like family. The little details matter and they were welcoming, helpful, easy to talk to and the home cooking delightful. They helped arrange a tour of Colombo and airport transfer. Nothing was too much trouble. Don't hesitate, you'll be glad you stayed here, and the more nights you stay the more you'll appreciate what a little gem this is.

Nice modern rooms. Staff were friendly and it is 5 minutes walk from the beach.
There was some building work going on and there was noise from this late into the night.

Clean and nice property
The staff were not friendly. When we asked airport transportation, the owner lady tried to convince us for the more expensive option which was more than double the price of what we found later. Expensive option was a van car however normally a Sedan car was enough for us because we were 4 people with small luggages. When we asked for a Sedan option, she didn’t help and only said that van is the only option and we can’t find another. And then we simply found a Sedan which is much much cheaper than she offered.
At the beginning, they gave us the wrong room and they wanted to shift us to another room because another family would stay in that room more than one week. We accepted and it’s normally no problem but when I didn’t understand and asked again the reason, the answer of the lady was angry and rude.
