I was very happy with the quality of the room and bathroom for the price and on such short notice (1hr)! It was close to the airport and the host/owner was very nice and flexible. She stay up late just so I could check in and she helped by talking with my tuktuk driver for directions when I was clearly lost from using google maps. The room was very clean and spacious and so much better then the hostel that I was looking at staying before.
The location was hard to find on google maps and the tuktuk driver didn't know the area so well to find it on his own. But since the host was available to call, I was able to finally find the place and get much needed sleep.

Nice guest house and very nice family. The rooms are clean, there is a mosquito net. There are many plants and green area around. You can order food here for an extra fee (it is not expensive). We asked for breakfast - and it was very tasty! The lady took into account all our wishes and made the food not spicy. Thank you very much!
The location is near the airport and sometimes noisy planes fly by. But it is not often and did not bother us.
Also, it is difficult to find shops and restaurants nearby. You can order food here or bring it with you.

Great place near the airport, perfect to stay right before or after a flight, quiet enviroment in the middle of nature. The owners are a lovely family ready to help and provide anything you need. Room is super clean and comfortable.
It is a bit far from Negombo.

It's family home with rooms and has all you need to start yr Lankan adventure or depart as it's ever so close to airport. Lovely family and you get to see all the kids coming and going to school..it offers a close look at Lankan families day to day life. There are three rooms on offer but only one has a bathroom, other are share facilities. There is a guess entrance but never used hence you walk into the family living room to access the guest rooms.
It's difficult to access shops and transport as it is a hidden lush bush area. At night the dogs go wild.

It was comfortable and the bathroom is attached to the room which is nice although there’s no hot water. You have the option to book their tuktuk for a ride to the airport which is very convenient.
I got a bit overcharged for the room yet i didn’t say anything because i don’t mind supporting the family but keep that in mind if your budget is strict. The place is also too far from anything so i couldn’t get dinner.

it is clean, close ish to the airport.
I usually try not to leave bad reviews on smaller places that are run by a family, but here I have to. Several things:
-we arrived late with the idea of going straight to sleep. there was a main light above the bed flashing briefly every 3 min even though we turned it off. I realized right away and told the owner, she said it's just from time to time. it actually wouldn't stop for 1h, so we were unable to sleep. I messaged the host asking if we could get another room. no reply. I ended up jumping on the bed to disconnect the lamp from the ceiling. dust and mold fell on the bed as a result. This is something the owners are certainly aware of and they didn't do anything about it.
no towels until we asked, no windows, no bed sheet or blanket,, no hot water, no wifi, the fan is too strong and no bed sheet to cover yourself.
we arranged transport to the airport at 6am by the owners. 6:15 and they were still sleeping, had to wake them up. we had agreed on 1200 the night before, she tried to keep 1500 in the am.
