The hospitality is super. Owner is a super friendly German man and he is every day there to support. The stay was really nice including the breakfast and also option to be part of the dinner set if you pre order.
The rooms are nice and big and the pool is super nice.
This place make you feel like you are in a tropical garden.
The main beach is little trashy form ocean and we have big waves when we stayed there

When you first arrive at the hotel, you will find an inconspicuous gate by the beach and for a moment you doubt whether you have arrived at the right address. But when you step inside, you will discover a beautiful garden with beautiful and comfortable accommodation. All this is underlined by the personality of the kind and reliable owner Markus, who takes care of his clients together with the smiling staff. The accommodation is located practically right on the sandy beach with a minimum of tourists.

Staff could not have been more helpful and flexible on many things including early check out, sorting taxis and tuk tuks and coordinating a local spa venue. Set up (honesty bar) , coffees and meals were straightforward. Pool area excellent. Air con in room worked well.
It was the last 2 days stop of a 16 day island tour so location 40 mins from CBO airport but on the beach was good.
Minor picky points really that didn't detract from the stay. No card machine, so had to make a trip to the ATM , WiFi access intermittent at best (was the worst of 5 places we stayed around SL). A couple of aspects of the facilities are just starting to get a little tired now: very low water pressure on shower, loose plug socket, some rattan furniture starting to fray....so a little colonial but OK.

Nice and relaxing resort, perfect after a long flight.. Nice rooms, great pool which is kid friendly. Food was good. If you looking to relax then this is your spot. Didnt see any mosquitos during our 2 day stay :)
The beach was not that great compared to the beaches in the south.

Delightful set of 12 comfy bungalows around a great pool with lovely gardens. Short 50 metre walk to nice beach. Charming dinner and relaxing areas. Food is good and reasonably priced. A great place to relax for a few days.
Nothing. Its not close to anything but the owner organized tuk tuk and transfers. So all good.

Location and a resort in calm and nice are. There is a swimming pool, self service for soft drinks (additional cost). Food provided (breakfast included, dinner, set menu ordered on a day) was fair size and enough of everything.
Overall, it's a really great place.
Host Mark is always there if you need something
Not a complaint, only a thought that kettle in a room would be a great addition to all

Markus and his team were extremely helpful and the resort itself was relaxing and beautiful if your looking for quiet, relaxing beautiful surroundings and a place to unwind this is for you.
If your looking for lively beach resort with activities, music and cocktails try somewhere else

I don't understand why it says 5 star resort. It's beautiful and lovely in many ways and in some ways more than a 5 star hotel with the kind and intimate interaction with staff but it's not 5 stars!

Pleasant
The bungalows were nice and clean. Nice pool and great distance to the beach for a swim. Beautiful nature around the resort. Breakfast okay with new things every day. Free cold water to refill bottles. staff was nice and welcoming.
The location is quite remote from restaurants so you almost have to eat at the resort. They don't take cards for payment of stay which means you have to find a bank and withdraw the money, which I found a hassle. Tea/coffee prices too high and WiFi didn't work very well in the bungalows.
