Our friendly host went out of his way to collect us from the airport and to make sure we were comfortable and well catered for. The breakfast was abundant.
The room was great with a comfortable large bed, and the area quiet.
A bit out of the main area of things but close to the best beach.

Breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly and always there to provide assistance. Rooms are clean. The garden is beautiful. Location is very good for beach walking and easy access to many restaurants. We have a very happy 3 night stay.

Great location, clean and comfortable with good AC and fan. The room came with water dispenser and all kitchen appliances. The staff were lovely and polite and helped with airport taxi arrangements. Great price.

First time for me in Sri Lanka..: a great introduction to their overall welcoming attitudes. Room was very comfortable..: kitchen facilities...: modern and clean ! Apartment block's close to the beach...: if that's your go ! Close to small supermarket...: providing all MY essentials. Lovely people at 'Park Lane'...: the owner,the son and all staff..: reflects a great attitude to guests, that does ! Makes for a big difference, I say ! Taxi arranged for my planned trip to Gaulle. Money exchanged as well..: another added advantage (current rate ..; no 'commission' issues !!)
For ME...: nothing to dislike ,to be fair ! (Had limited time in Sri Lanka...: stayed a bit too long in Negombo..: that's nothing to do with Park Lane !) . All was the same as displayed on " Booking.com "...:therefore impossible to state any 'dislikes'...!

Liked...: (1)...Good 'introduction' to Sri Lankan hospitality...: all staff involved welcomed me, genuinely. (2)..Good location, a 10 minute walk to the Indian Ocean... : who does not enjoy the sight/sound of the ocean. Close to small supermarket, ability then to buy 'essentials' (3)..: Great staff helpfulness...amazing how good the Sri lankans can make you feel and want your stay to be enjoyable...they'll do as much as is possible, to make that happen. Full credit and a thank you to them.
Dislikes..: (1)..This is MY problem ...stayed a bit too long: being a lazy individual....therefore NO reflection on 'Park Lane Apartments'...so, no help to anyone. (2)...Really...: nothing to DISLIKE about 'Park Lane'...I wish them success.

good location. about 5 minutes walk to beach, restaurants and supermarkets. We arranged airport pickup through the hotel as we arrived late at night and $20usd seems a lot but was problem free and sooo worth it.
the advertised swimming pool is across the road at the other half of the apartments and it is very small, also breakfast is a bit same/same every day, but you will see this in most sri lankan hotels.

The rooms are a great size and clean. The location is very good, we were able to walk to bars and restaurants. The owner recommended a tour of Negombo which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was lovely beside the pool. They collected us from the airport for a small fee even though it was midnight. We very much appreciated their hospitality.
The only complaint I have is that I had difficulty locking my door, I did eventually but it took a bit of effort.

clean, drinkable water in the kitchen, warm water, mosquitera around bed - very needed as inside of room there were mosquitos, flexible arrival time - the owner let us in after late night flight around 3-4am and was very kind and flexible. Thank you for that. Breakfast was very simple, an omlett and toast bread with jam, but again appreciated that we could eat over the regular schedule
that in the room there were mosquitos, and also around the small pool

Big apartment with balcony and kitchenette. Small plunge pool. 5 minute walk to beach. Easy walking access into town or by tuk tuk. Owner very nice and super helpful. Booked train tickets, transfers etc

Very nice host. Hospitable and very welcoming.
It was great that they did an early checkin for one of our rooms too.
The location is good too... A 10 min walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants.
I was surprised by the 3% extra charge for using my credit card for payment.
Usually this is mentioned on the payment terms.
