The property was very clean and beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was enjoying a stay with my family. The bed was very comfortable and I had the best sleep during my stay.
Being able to walk to the restaurants and take my daily beach walks was a definite plus.

It was a very good accommodation, very safe, well furnished with many different communal areas as well as a generous sized bedroom, kitchen, dining area and lounge area so ideal if you wanted to cater for yourself.The breakfast was fine, fruit, omlette and toast with tea or coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful and organised a car for 1.30am making sure the driver was in plenty of time and stayed up to check everything went smoothly. We were very grateful.
We paid for breakfast separate for the accommodation and felt it was a little expensive but hadn't asked the price beforehand so no complaints.

Maria Villa is in a quiet backstreet close to the beach. Comfortable room. Janet the owner is lovely and very helpful with booking tours and local information.
Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria Villa. Janet made us feel right at home making our visit to Negombo nicer and welcoming. Our room was spacious and very clean; a nice size bathroom with hot water. The rooftop offers beautiful views of the area. Maria Villa is located on a quiet street within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

Ms. Janet is very nice and helpful. It also makes a very good breakfast. The room and bathroom are clean, have air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. There is also hot water in the bathroom. It is quiet and good for relaxation. It also has a garden.
We recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel experience in Sri Lanka. It set a quite high standard for the rest of our hotel selections.
The owner had international background, so she understands customer's needs more easily. We had our first local Lion Larger there.
Love every moment staying in Maria's Villa.
