Excellent stay! I stayed for one night and would definitely come back. The room is clean, cozy, and comfortable, with AC and absolute silence. The bathroom is spacious, very clean, and has hot water with good pressure.
The location is excellent — just a few minutes from the beach and city attractions. Breakfast is delicious and generous. The host is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is very good especially the hoppers, I want to eat them again now. Very reasonable price, the hosts are very nice, we arrived the hotel very late, the host told us where to eat, five or 10 minutes can reach to the restaurant, the fruit juice there is so good.
The hotel room has a very strong smelling, I don’t know whether it comes from soap or cologne, I wash my clothes and hand there the next day they get all the smelling. The Country has many stray dogs and cats, hope you can share some food to them and be nice to them.

I had a wonderful stay at the Marcelin Family Villa, which was both clean and comfortable. Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Roy, the owner, and his wife, Jenifa, treated me to delicious spicy food and fresh fruit. Since my booking was for a day, they kindly arranged a tuk-tuk for me to explore the area. They also took care of all the necessary licensing formalities before my arrival, which I truly appreciated. I was impressed by their hospitality and would highly recommend this place to others.

What an amazing family and stay here! Roy and his family are very welcoming and helpful, they are full of tips and are always willing to support.
The breakfast is delicious with many local fruits and local pancakes. We loved it so much that we will be back to stay here again.
It is close to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around. This is the perfect place to start/finish your time in Sri Lanka

Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. Hosts were kind and let us store our bags before our flight out.
Google Maps has the address slightly incorrect. It takes you about 30 metres down the road.

Jennifer and Roy were welcoming and friendly, we felt like at home and were looked after well. The property was located 5minutes walking distance from the beach. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, it consisted of hoppers, pancakes, fruits and tea/coffee.
