The staff was very nice and welcoming. We stayed there for two nights after arriving early morning to CMB airport. The breakfast was freshly prepared for us at the time requested.

Location in the centre, close to the beach, a couple of restaurants near by.
The owner was very kind, great conversation.
Comfortable beds, good and tasty breakfast.
The disadvantage of the location in the centre may be noise from the street. But it wasn't nothing that would prevent us from sleeping. :)

Great helpful friendly owners of this guesthouse. Superb service from booking to leaving. Quiet place. Good location for when arriving to country as lots resturants in area, supermarket down the road, couple mins walk.
Rooms are comfortable with good space, TV, aircon, fan, bathroom. Very good value.
Nice communal sitting area.
He even let us leave a bit of luggage while we travelled around in a tuk tuk for a month.
Breakfast is very good, nice section of food.

Russel and his wife are super warm hearted and helpful host, they gave me the first great impression of sri Lanka. Their garden is very lovely and everything is very clean. The first day I got hungry at 3pm, but every restaurant was closed till 5pm, Russel and wife went to kitchen immediately and cooked me so delicious home made lunch/dinner! The location is very near to the beach, local surroundings with local people. Practical place near to fish market and local temples. It is pity that I only stayed two days. Worth for longer time stay.

Russel was a very kind and friendly host. The room was basic but clean and nice and I slept very well! He also helped me out when I couldn’t get my USB charger to work. All in all, I couldn’t have wished for a better welcome to Sri Lanka!
