We stayed here for one night in December 2025 because of the hotel's proximity to the airport. Although the hotel bills itself as "gay friendly" (which is certainly is), I would say that it is equally "friendly to everyone." We are a straight couple of older travellers, and the staff took excellent care of us. Our original room had broken a/c, and without any fuss we were moved to a room with excellent a/c by the pool. As this room change was actually a downgrade for us, the desk arranged our taxi to the airport at no cost to us . . . and the taxi came punctually to pick us up at the appointed time in the early morning. We arrived at the hotel after dark, and very tired, so regretfully we did not explore the surrounding area of Negombo, its restaurants, etc. The hotel is situated on an ultraquiet side street, so there is no traffic noise, and we could not hear the jets landing or departing a few kilometers away. Five stars for the staff!

Everything was amazing. From the koi pond at the entry, to the thoughtfully arranged rooms and public spaces to the pool/lounge area with the its resident tortoises, to the open air eating area, the whole vibe was tranquil privacy. We loved our beautifully decorated orange room - comfy bed, spacious bathroom - just what we needed after our 24-hour trip to Sri Lanka. The staff were friendly and professional and went above and beyond with service. They helped arrange a short excursion and even find my husband some flip flips in the right size LOL. Breakfasts were delicious and generous. The hotel is located away from the main strip so it's quiet, but still just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping etc. For our first trip to Sri Lanka it was really a wonderful start. Our flight arrived very early morning, so we booked an extra half day, which was well worth it.
If anything the breakfasts were perhaps too generous? Just when we thought we were done, another plate of food would arrive. So wonderfully fresh it was hard not to try it all.
I guess one other quibble would be that they requested we pay cash at checkout, which we hadn't anticipated, so we had to do a quick ATM run.

Very nice Place to stay ,especially for gays! The staff is very kind & very helpful. From check-in until the check- out, everthing was well organized and professionally handeld We were there over Singhalese New Year and a lot of shops were closed. But everybody helped and organized everthing we needed. The rooms are big, very well equipped and very clean, like the completed hotel area. The breakfast was also good: Eggs, Omelette,Pancakes, Fruit platter…
You also can play Pool billiard or invite friends to join you in the pool area. Easy going, chilled place only few meters from the nice big beach. We looking forward to come back asap!

The furnishing of the individual rooms was simply fantastic. The feeling for the colors and the small details is like art. The staff, like the owner, are lovely and super friendly and accommodating. Everything is prepared with a lot of love and the included breakfast is the best I have ever had, sumptuous, fresh and again the small details like the butter and the jam on the table or how the fruit is cut. You simply have to see this hotel
