Great host, quiet location and spotless room. Best wifi in any place we’ve stayed. Close to supermarket.Will stay there again for sure. There is not a restaurant there, but ordering food in was easy.

Friendly host , with comfortable rooms that have working AC.
The church that was bombed a few years back is just 100m away , the memory is very fresh for the entire neighbourhood.
There is a local supermarket nearby aswell , but if you are not able to walk a couple of KM to the main town in the heat , then just call a tuktuk to the door!

I extended my time at Coco Home due to the pleasant ambience, super clean room and the hospitality of the host. The location is ideal for a quiet get away from the crowds and tourist hussle of the coastal areas. The room feels modern with all conveniences, AC, fan, large bed and a warm power shower, spotlessly clean. A lovely veranda with table and chairs offer a garden view, all in all a pleasant stay and a super host.

The place seemed very nice. Regardless of if the property is listed incorrectly by Booking or the owners, they were nice enough to cancel when we got there and realized we had an issue. They gave us a nice cup of tea while we found another room.
I was traveling with my adult daughter so we always book rooms with two beds. We put that in the filters and then double check before confirming. We had an early flight the next day so booked a place close to the airport. We got there around 10pm after traveling most of the day only to find that there was only one bed! We showed the confirmation stating clearly two beds but then were told they don’t have any rooms with 2 beds. I called the owner who confirmed they didn’t have any double rooms and he canceled our reservation and I booked another place. Really annoying since it was so late at night, we had an early flight, and there were few options at that late notice. Not sure where the blame is, but be aware they only have one bed in the rooms.

It was a pleasant stay at Coco Home, Negombo. The room was clean and spacious as well as the garden. Hosts were really nice and caring and also were flexible with the hours of stay. A safe and secure place for family and friends to stay and a must try out homely place if you are traveling to Negombo.

Good location for night before flying and just got tuktuk early morning
Shop opposite great.
We walked to nearby Italian restaurant and came across large Hindu festival and the people of the neighbourhood seemed so nice.

During our three weeks in Srilanka Coco Home was our favorite homestay. The room was freshly renovated with air-condition and a very nice bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. We got a great breakfast with western and local food. The location is perfect to start or end your trip since it's close to the airport and the Host helped us with every question.
