The location is amazing . Clean and quiet. The room was great and large and so clean The staff are great helpful especially Chalani and Dilini
Food is not wow . It doesn't even fit a 2 stars hotel . They can add more kinds of food and make it more delicious And also as a Muslim dont eat pork, they must make signs in front of it . And also its too expensive if you order a separated meal

Title: Extremely Disappointing Stay - Unprofessional Staff and Subpar Service I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Club Palm Bay-Marawila, and I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear that this hotel was severely lacking in professionalism and customer care. First and foremost, the front desk staff left much to be desired. It was evident that they lacked the necessary training and education to handle their responsibilities effectively. Their incompetence was not only frustrating but also led to unnecessary delays and confusion during check-in. It's disheartening to encounter uneducated employees who are unable to provide even basic assistance or answer simple questions. The buffet offered at the hotel was another major letdown. Despite its cheap price, the quality of the food was subpar at best. The limited variety of options, coupled with lackluster taste and presentation, left a lot to be desired. It's disappointing to pay for a service that fails to meet even the most basic standards of a decent meal. Adding insult to injury, the employees throughout the hotel were consistently rude and unhelpful. It seemed as though they had no interest in providing a positive experience for guests. Their lack of friendlinessy and professionalism only further exacerbated the already disappointing stay. It's unacceptable to be treated with such disdain and disregard when paying for a service. Overall, my stay at Club Palm Bay-Marawila, was a complete disaster. The uneducated front desk staff, poor buffet, and consistently rude employees made it abundantly clear that this hotel does not prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its guests. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment and urge the management to invest in proper training for their staff and improve the overall quality of their services.

The staff, starting from the front desk porter to kitchen staff, the wait staff to the room service everyone was exceptional and courteous. Felt like they were all in a mission to make sure the guests are taken care of no matter what. I lost count on how many times per day random and different staff asked if we need anything or how they can make our stay exceptional. Simply unbelievable and unexpected. The food was amazing and full of variety. The kitchen staff went above and beyond and out of their way to make special request food for my expecting wife's cravings. I was in hospitality business once upon a time and even for me this is next level guest satisfaction. Overall 5 star guest experience and the staff truly set the bench mark for great customer service in the hospitality business. Something I haven't experienced even in the United States. Also a shoutout to wait staff Shashikala and the crew at the buffet for the kindness and effort to make our stay better.. Keep up the good work.
Pretty much I liked everything. One thing to note is that the hotel does show a bit of age when it comes to the rooms, pool and fitness center. But that doesn't effect the overall guest experience but as a note for "room for improvement".

The staff at Club Palm Bay exceeded our expectations in every aspect. They were always willing to go above and beyond to help us out and make us feel very welcome. We cannot thank them enough for such an enjoyable stay. The hotel has so many wonderful activities like golf, basketball, swimming and tennis. There was always something to keep you entertained. The hotel provides a very relaxing environment.

This was our final destination of this 21-day tour to Sri Lanka - We stayed 4 nights/5days. We were offered a room with the view of the lagoon and it was very closer to the restaurant, bar, and reception and not far away from the pool and other recreational activity places. Accommodation: This villa-type room is spacious and more convenient with lots of cupboards and drawers to keep your luggage. The room service was very good. The laundry facility and the staff are excellent. Some names of the staff who were very good for guests; Dalakshan, Pradeep, This is a resort with ample of recreational activities to enjoy for the guests. Swimming pool, a small golf course (ground), tennis, badminton, kayaking, etc.. The hotel has its own beach club. A private beach area for the hotel guests only.

Price was totally different from booking.com price staff increased the price when we got there and charged extra sum for the child which we already included. wasted lot of time sorting that out. staff used us as messengers to tell luggage people to inform room no, who were miles away from reception area. totally unsatisfied.
