A little oasis in Negombo! Brenda & Ron are the ultimate hosts- welcoming and very helpful with arranging excursions in the area. The property was immaculate and the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious! Very well located with the beach, restaurants, and shops just a few steps away :-)

We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and clean, the garden and pool area is relaxing and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts Ron and Brenda were really lovely and gave a lot of good advice on where to go and what to see not only in Negombo but Sri Lanka in general. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recomend it! Slovenian couple :)

I’m happy to confirm other 5- star reviews! Brenda and Ron run a friendly and stylish guesthouse set in a beautiful garden with patios and a pool. Their breakfasts (choose between a European and a Sri Lankan one) are feasts! We wish we’d scheduled a longer stay with them.

Such a lovely guesthouse, room was spacious and comfortable, very clean. Breakfast was made fresh with good variety and the pool and garden area was really nice and well maintained. Location was ideal, close to restaurants and the beach and approximately 35 mins to the airport

The accommodation is beautiful with a wonderful garden and pool. Although the rooms were not huge, we felt very comfortable.
Brenda and Ron are fantastic hosts. They helped us with everything effortlessly and made our stay even more perfect with great tips.
I must also mention the breakfast – simply delicious! Whether it was the Sri Lankan breakfast or the pancakes.
We would definitely come back anytime.

Ayubowan House is an oasis, a sanctuary in a great location, but protected from the city noise. A house well-loved by our fantastic hosts Rob & Brenda, who were very friendly & helpful, arranging a car from the airport ahead of our trip as well all local transport & tours we required, & a car to take us down south. The staff are lovely & the Sri-Lankan breakfast is a MUST - divine home-made spicy sambals, paratha & masala dosa :). We were really happy with their recommendation for dinner at Amra Leaf, authentic Sri Lankan away from the tourist strip, & also with excellent staff - so good that we went there 2 nights in a row. If we return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Rob & Brenda!

Very nice, clean facilities. We loved the pool and spent a relaxing afternoon here before our flight back from Colombo airport the next morning. Nice hosts, very accommodating, helped us organise a taxi to the airport in the early hours.

Brenda and Ron were extremely friendly and helpful, even making us some sandwiches on one evening because we didn't want to venture out in the bad weather.
Their place is very clean and tidy. They are well organised providing everything you need for a perfect time. The breakfast is delightful.
