Wonderful last few days in Sri Lanka. Hotel is in a great location, just 1.5 hours from airport and 1 hour from Galle. Owner is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make our stay perfect.

This was a truly excellent final few days of our trip. Pujita and the team were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food from the little restaurant was excellent. It's just a small 6 bedroom villa and has an intimate and personal feel. The location is great and the beaches were very quiet. Dumido was great at "front of house" and made sure we had everything we needed. Very highly recommended.

the staff at the Pleasure are very friendly and they will help in anything you ask. they will try to make the stay memorable within their capability.
simple life there with relaxing vibe. I loved the place. they make you feel home and the view in the morning from the room is unique.
they do cleaning on demand in the room every two days. which I think should be done daily.

After 2 weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka, staying in homestays and cheap digs, we booked The Pleasure for our last 4 nights of our trip. I really wanted a bit of luxury and time on the beach. The Pleasure did not disappoint and in fact it exceeded our expectations. We loved the room, the beach is literally on the doorstep and the team who work there are fabulous. We loved the wee bar too, pumping out reggae tunes run by a cool rasta guy ?
Really can't complain. It was total paradise.

We enjoyed our stay at Pleasure Kosgoda hotel very much. Everything was perfect and relaxing. Very quiet and private place with very-very-very marvelous beach.
10 out of 10 for sure.
What could be improved: wifi, the Internet works for “so-so” mark even when your devices show full connection

We couldn’t have stayed in a better place to bring our wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka to a close. Very large comfortable rooms overlooking the ocean. Great food, great service, stunning location with so many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute tuk tuk ride. Thank you so much to Thushan and all the team, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

Small hotel for 3 rooms and 3 more under construction now. Territory mostly private with small pass during tides. The hotel has its own parking behind gates, beach is sandy and clean. Breakfast is great, can be adjusted to your needs. Owner and hotel manager are amazing guys.
There is no good internet connection, airco is old and has little settings - like no night mode.

Greeted personally by the manager who took us in hand to ensure we found our room & were aware of all facilities - indoor/out door eating areas, lovely wee pool, private garden in grass ending at the beach & magnificent Indian Ocean, all with upholstered sun loungers, swing chairs, foot tap to rinse sand off, etc. our huge room & all others have beach views & balconies. Staff all very helpful and well trained. Excellent range of breakfasts from local to international; choice of drinks - Lion beer, cocktails etc. delicious snacks also available. Tuk Tuks arranged for complimentary trip to turtle sanctuary (well worth the visit) & to get us to a range of shops & fabulous local restaurants which were all very good. We will definitely use this place on any return trip & recommend it to any couples.
Potholes & speed bumps? Mainly that we only stayed there 5 nights and not longer!

Everything!!!
Location was the most awesome. One among the best beach front located properties I have stayed in across the world.
The staff and the team led by Tushara gave exemplary service.
And the best part was the food prepared by them for breakfast and other meals was much better than many other restaurants in the area. They kept a special consideration on spice levels for us!
Great stuff Pleasure Kosgoda. Keep it up!

Location & clean room we got is nice
Frozen fish as basis while living at the sea shore and broken bedsheets, & worn towels , awful coffee & tea
But on top we have been overcharged. room conformation was 20% Genius discount but property didn’t except they charged US38.58 then confirmation room rates & find it difficult to recover the amount from the booking company

The breakfast was delicious. I was able to pre-order the night before so they could ensure the had what I wanted and it was freshly prepared. I also ate dinner at the property which was equally delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the owner came to check on things daily.
The mattress was a bit hard as were the loungers on the beach. I did notice that the cushions for the beach loungers were the same as for the property next door, which I think belonged to a Sheraton so this may be what's available in the area.

Lovely Hotel, facing the beach. The owner, Pujeet is a wonderful host. Looked after us very well. The Manager Tushar is also very good accommodated all our needs. The hotel is virtually on the beach and not crowded so it almost felt like we had our own private beach. Loved it all.

We stopped off here on our way to the airport and we are very glad we did. It is perfectly located right on a beautiful beach with the waves crashing all around. The team were full of smiles and very helpful - they took our dinner order (my wife is vegan) and then went to the market to buy fresh produce. It is a simple place, but all the better for it.

Amazing location right on the beach.
Lots of outdoor seating and hammocks and swings to soak up the view!
Sea was powerful but nice to swim in if you were careful and are a confident swimmer. There are strong waves and currents too.
The food was delicious- seafood so fresh.
The staff warm and welcoming, very friendly.
Bed very large and comfortable and shower powerful once we got the hang of it!
The owner even took us to a nearby turtle sanctuary where we learnt about the turtles and saw various ages. We were able to release some into the ocean near the hotel!

As soon as we arrived we felt really welcome. The hotel was in a wonderful location on a quiet beach. Hotel was also quiet, atmospheric and tidy. Hotel staff and the owner were really kind and helpful, they also speak really good english which made managing things easy. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and all food was fresh and tasty.
We highly recommend a visit there!

This place his a true gem, to the extent we stayed longer than originally planned. The owner is a true gentleman who does his utmost to ensure you have a great stay. We loved everything at this place; the room, the restaurant, every member of staff we met were so pleasant and really kind to our little boy. The proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony was just the best, a real slice of paradise and I wouldn't hesitate to return here, true 10/10.
