It was very pretty outside. And the rooms looked nice on first impression.
A/C worked in our room and shower was okay.
Manager did go out to get some bread and other food that they couldn’t make in house for us.
Food was NOT nice, saw two mice go into the kitchen as well. We couldn’t stomach eating there in the end and had to drive 20min away to a restaurant. Don’t advertise you have a restaurant when you have to source some of the food from outside restaurants and then what you cook in-house is nasty. When you wanted help, couldn’t find any staff. Staff were untrained. Charged for things they didn’t tell us they would charge us for. (Charged us 350lkr for tiny water bottles that appeared complimentary and were placed on the table without asking or letting us know it would cost money! Can buy a 5L water bottle from supermarket for 400lkr, would NOT have taken the water had we known they would charge us for it). Definitely an overpriced hotel! Photos on booking.com not accurate. Owner was rude and arrogant - when we tried to complain and explain the situation over the phone (because owner lives in Colombo) he did not care one bit. The manager on site seemed a bit deceitful as well, charging us more money for food one night even tho we asked for the exact same meal. There was mould in the bedroom. And the rooms were very dark inside, not enough lighting, couldn’t even tell if it was sunny outside. Would not stay here again. Has potential to improve if the staff cared and put effort in, were trained, rooms renovated, and better management.
We also had to pay upfront, before our stay, which we found surprising since every other facility didn’t do that.

Its good and helthy BF and location is really good .. sourounding of the room is unbelievable lot of Birds souds and staff is very frindly food is excellent . I really happy to stay my holiday such a greeny, peasfull & cool place.

We were lucky and had the property to ourselves, the rooms are large and comfortable very clean, the staff were lovely they allowed us to bring our own drinks which was nice around the pool, food was also lovely.

It is very much on its own and in the jungle. We enjoyed the isolation. Also, it only took a short journey to get to Yala for our safari. The pool was nice and the room spacious.
Unfortunately an elephant took out a power line right outside so we had no electricity or water for 24 hours. Obviously this is not something that could be helped! We did enjoy being in the darkness, watching all the fire flies and listening to the wildlife.

Tringa Villas at Kirinda was a highlight during my visit to Sri Lanka. Beautiful property, clean & well maintained room. The room is provided with all the required facilities. Staff was very helpful. Good breakfast provided. The owner arranged a safari trip for me. Overall, it is a fantastic place to stay if you want to visit the Yala National Park.

The place was a very unique experience, well organised with great, friendly, knowledgeable staff! The rooms were super spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable. The food was excellent and the safari organised by the camp for us was a great experience.

beautiful garden and nice villas. The property is well-kept and offers a large swimming pool, making it a perfect place to relax. Great location if you are planning to visit Yala national park.
The staff were more than helpful.
Being vegetarian in this part is a bit difficult but the staff took great care of us.
Need to have your own vehicle to stay in this property as it is a bit remote.
