Spacious and comfortable lodge, well located for our safari trip in Yala National Park. Attentive and helpful staff who provided an excellent service.
Although the a la carte menu for dinner was good, we weren’t too keen on the setting. The bright lighting attracted too many bugs whilst dining outside. The sister hotel has a better setting with nicer ambience, but then the buffet dinner isn’t as good.

This is absurd!
The electricity failed and u was moved to another room. I had to wait in the room while workman worked but did not repair the electricity ,

The room was in a lovely setting. Staff was excellent. As we were a family and we’re short on time, I called before I reached the hotel to order our lunch so that we could immediately leave for the safari and it was ready and well taken care of . Mr. Ramesh Buddika organised all we needed most efficiently.

I absolutely loved my cabin! So comfortable and super spacious. Loved having such a large balcony to relax on. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Would return in a heartbeat!

Fabulous luxury lodges with very large covered decks set in a very peaceful rural setting close to Yala and close to the beach. A very calming, tranquil place to stay. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable.. The bathroom is as large as many hotel rooms in itself and the additional outside cold shower is a very unusual touch. (And the indoor shower is excellent, too.) The lodges are arranged to enhance privacy and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The roof top swimming pool has a beautiful view over the sea and the food is excellent. Monkeys sometimes visit the grounds, as do a few cows and even occasionally an elephant - though not when we were there. A wide variety of birds surround you in the trees. The manager arranged an excellent half day safari to Yala for us with a very knowledgeable guide.

This is the most worthwhile hotel on our Sri Lanka trip! The photos cannot fully capture the comfort and beauty of the hotel! The wooden cottage we lived in was located in the forest and was very comfortable! The hotel and the other side of Jetwing Yala share a buffet and beach bar. The staff is very friendly! No matter what our needs are, the staff comes to serve us immediately. The food at Jungle Hotel is delicious! This is definitely a place worth coming back to!
The buffet restaurant shared with Jetwing Yala Hotel had tough meat to chew.
