Wonderful
Size of the room was pretty big as we booked a family room for 3 people. The staff was very helpful and polite.
They could have given a couple water bottles as there was no drinking water available.

The room was big, had ac, bed was comfortable. Pool was clean, good for swimming. We went to Yala national park in the morning and they let us leave our bags at the reception. After we came back we could still use the pool and bathroom facilities. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

The sweetest people ever. They were so lovely and warm hearted, went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed. Food was so yummy. Beautiful pool. STAY HERE!

Nice property and nice pool. We got a room next to the pool. Later on I realised that the upper rooms were much nicer and cooler. Most of the rooms were empty so not sure why we were located downstairs. The price of accommodation was ok, but other places around for same price offer more and better services. The staff were very friendly. They offered us a packed breakfast at 4am when going on a safari tour.
Maybe because it was low season, the quality of food was below average and very expensive compared to neighbouring home stays. We were part of a bigger goup and other home stays were booked out so we had this which was fine. Doing the laundry was very expensive, and we got it two days later before check-out which didnt bother us, but the clothes felt like they have been washed just before and quickly put in a dryer, so we got them back a bit wet.

Budget hotel that has probably seen better days, the pool was most welcome but gardens around and general cleanliness could be better. Not all menu items available and the AC and fan were intermittent and very noisy. That said the staff were friendly, helpful and well meaning and a great location for taking the safari

They arrange safari tour for us. it was amazing. driver is best for safari tour. we saw leopard and six elephant. staff was very friendly and they always help for you anything. food was great and we eat there rice and curry that was best. pool area also great and very calm. highly recommend saman resort yala.

Nice room! Great smell when entering. Pool was very warm but nice. They organized safari - for 21000 rupees per person - but we had a private jeep. WE SAW A LEOPARD! You must be lucky to see it but our driver also did a lot to manage - he called with other drivers etc. After the safari you can still use the pool, even if you left the room already
Breakfast packed for safari was very basic, but ok.

Really really beautiful and peaceful place. They organized a safari for us. It's really fun experience.We show two leopards and bear. specially, foods was very delicious. friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous pool, just like the photos. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and organised a safari for when we got there. And we saw a leopard.

Staff was very friendly, food was great, they help to arrange safari for us it was fantastic, we see lot of animal in the park, we see two leopard and lot elephants. Pool was incredibile. Room is very large. Highly reconmend this place

Best place to stay in tissa, I extent one more night there. And they help to make me best yala safari experience. Food was really best and fresh. Receptionist sanjani was really friendly and helpful. Pool is clean and i enjoy it lot. It was very big. Room was really big and clean. Highly Recommended this place.

Wonderful
This place has a lot of potential. The rooms are huge, comfortable, with beautiful antique funiture and very clean (and there is good waterpressure in the shower!). The location is a bit away from town (although close enough if you take a tuktuk), but there isnt really a need to leave: pool is large and nice to cool off, there are some shady areas to read a book and there is good food. Owner helped arrange my safari. The place is run by him and just two others and they were all very welcoming and sweet!
The outdoor and communal areas need some serious love and care.
