We had a quality time at 'elephant reach' hotel and it was such a great vacation for me personally as i love being with nature friendly spots. The hotel is located in a scenic and spectacular surrounding that is easily accessible to anyone. Cozy ambience, cool breeze and superb jeep service around yala park.

The hotel hospitality was great. Exceptional staff. Even at late night I was able to order from them and nominal fees was paid. The owner was extra nice and accommodated all my request. all of the amenities worked really well. yala travelers must have this hotel on their bucket list.

Amazing place, tons to do and see around the area, great hosts, lovely amenities. evening birds, chill weather. loved the hotel. we went on a safari at Yala national park. Overall, enjoyed the safari. my recommendation to do a full day. you won't get a chance. only in sri lanka.

Very calm location, nice pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Really relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are huge! Overall a really nice hotel. air Conditioning also worked really great! The manager was not on site, but still made sure all our needs and wants were met. Good breakfast and the staff was always smiling.

Everything was perfect. Staff went above the beyond to fulfill all our needs. Truly hospitable people. Specially loved yala safari which was a private one. The service was incredible and the food itself was delicious. There was so much - definitely go hungry.

Where do I start ….. everything about this place is absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Spacious room well equipped, meals and others all conveyed in a professional manner. the biggest pool surprised us.

Beautiful Location, Tasty Food & Great Service! Had a wonderful experience at elephant reach hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The view is absolutely stunning, especially the pool activities.

Expensive - rooms and menu - when compared to other accommodations.
Flies everywhere including in the restaurant - the hotel needs to do more to reduce these e.g. keep doors closed, use fly screens or get some fly catchers.

+1. Good location. Well appointed large rooms with good beds, mattresses, pillows, and large bathrooms.
+2. Superb surroundings, well kept lawns, trees and other nature elents. The garden staff are awesome.
+3. Ms. Nawodha, Ms.Shakiya, Ms.Dileka and Mr.Hasitha, all are front office staff, who are professional, attentive and courteous. Sri Lanka needs more good workers like these guys in the hospitality sector. A big thank you to them.
+4. Restaurant staff are good, courteous, and very efficient. A big thank you to all of them.
+5. Reasonably good food. I believe the food could be better. The chef must work on creating better food with more variety. Food is a very important aspect of any hotel, and it should be handled carefully.
+6. A very good size pool, very well kept. The pool young attendant gentleman is absolutely hardworking. He is really am assett tpnthis hotel. He keeps the pool absolutely clean at all times.
-1. Security at the gate is completely useless and not bothered. When you drive many hours deep into the south of Sri Lanka, finallybreach the hotel, you want someone to help you, guide you at the gates and most importantly direct you where to go. The gurad didn't get up from the seat, was on his phone, and was least bothered about guests. Not just us, but few others didn't have a clue about where to go.
-2. First impressions matter in hospitality trade. If your first experience at the gate of the hotel is ruined, then your whole stay might getessed up.
-3. The owners of the hotel need to fix this problem.

The ambiance of the hotel was nice. The staff was attentive and friendly. The manager even went us to our room after check in and shook my hands, which is a personal touch. The hotel is along the main highway, although unfortunately there are no restaurants or anything else to see around in that area. It's very near Yala National Park though.
There is nothing to do or eat in the area aside from eating at the hotel. The hotel has a pool but since we checked in at 6pm and had an early wake up call for the safari, we weren't able to use any of their facilities.
The dinner buffet had a nice spread and was reasonably priced. They even had live music. Wished there were more things to do in the area other than Yala national park. But then again, that's not the hotel's fault.

All meals were just amazing. The service was so good, they always greeted us with a smile. There was a communication barrier everywhere we went in Sri Lanka but not here. They understood what we wanted and how we wanted it.
It was mostly the bugs but I guess there isn’t must they would do because this property was literally in the jungle. I loved everything else.

Amazing staff! Anuradha is a fantastic guest relations officer! Hotel was comfortable and stay was pleasant.
The pool bar was not functional. They also did not have any fresh fruit juices to order although they were on the menu.
We ordered a pot of tea for two, but they only brought us one cup of tea. The second cup was brought because I asked the server.
