The room was great, and had the whole floor for ourselves including a balcony with beautiful views from Victoria lake. It’s situated outside of Kandy, away from the busy city. Very peaceful.
Not too far away are the knuckles ranges wich are great for hiking and waterfalls. Just on the other side of the hill is another short steep hike to a view point with amazing views over the lake, on the way up is an ancient cave temple.

Very vriendly host, if you want to do trekking/hiking in the knuckles range, i recommend this accomodation. Also the husband of the host is a hiking guide.

The property was impeccably clean, and I really appreciated that.
The room was quite small and felt a bit cramped. We mostly used it for sleeping since we spent most of our time exploring. Unfortunately, the fan wasn’t strong enough to keep the room cool, making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep.

An ideal family run residence for overnight stay. Owner Nilantha is an expert in local tours and the hospitality industry. Clean, spacious and secure, the property is surrounded by greenery bordering the river. Facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and owners catered to my requirements.

There is no gate to secure the car park. Car park can be directly accessed from street. However, it was safe in our stay.
