The hosts were absolutely wonderful and their hospitality was top. You were made feel truly at home. It felt like you were part of the family. Highly recommend staying for their dinners - so delicious and very generous portions.
The location was a bit far from central Kandy but you could easily get there with a Tuk Tuk in 15 minutes. You could either book it through PickMe or they would arrange it for you.

The place is great and the host are very very kind, we had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect. We have been able to take breakfast and dinner at the lalanga home stay for a very reasonable price !

The room was clean comfortable the balcony had amazing view of the mountains and river.

Breakfast was wonderful with many Sri Lankan dishes with large portions. The Host was very accommodating to our food request and made special Mutton Korma for us. Regular meals have fish or chicken curry with many vegetable dishes and rice. We used daily private Tuk Tuk service to visit downtown for shopping and outher tourist attractions. The driver takes care of the guest transportation needs at this Homestay.
No Airconditioner in room.
Internet speed I could get was 4 Mbps Only

Really clean. I mean exceptionally clean. An older property with decor and furniture to match its age. I stayed in the deluxe double which was a very big room with a small window, but it wasn't dark as the internal lighting was good. Plenty of shelves and places to put clothes and bags. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom, good water pressure. Very nice and helpful hosts. Food was outstanding. Excellent breakfast with some choices. Dinners were really good Sri Lankan rice and curry which were cooked with care and skill. If you ask in advance what the options are you can choose what you want. A variety of curries are served, plus a dessert. I stayed 3 nights and ate dinner there twice as it was great and inexpensive. It is a little out of town on a hill but easily accessible by tuk-tuk or scooter.
It was all good.

The room was sparkling clean and we had a great valley view from the balcony. A bottle of water was provided at no extra charge.
We only stayed one night, but the complimentary breakfast really stood out. We had so many delicious Sri Lankan meals on the table that we had a hard time finishing it all - super tasty!

Very friendly host with very good and fresh breakfast/lunch. We were welcomed by the family with a juice and a refreshing towel.
There are a lot of mosquitos in Kandy.

Such kind and hospitable hosts, they had dinner ready for us on arrival (even after we came so late) and an amazing breakfast prepared for us in the morning! The view from our room was so beautiful and peaceful. Such a great stay at such a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Kandy!
