Exceptional
Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts.
We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle.
We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation.
It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well.
Deepthi’s cooking is amazing.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Book this place when you wish to see many things in and around Kandy!
The owners went the extra mile to make me super happy. He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool.
I felt really at home here.

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.
